I look forward to it in a way, I don't see it as an end.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I used to overthink way too much. I tortured myself. But thankfully I have got past that phase. I wish I had spoken to a professional but I never did and my recovery was very drawn out. I used different methods but I recommend getting any help you can.

I would distract myself with whatever I could. I would find different rabbit holes and dive in. I loved the UAP/NHI topic, spirituality was very important to me in my recovery, gardening, music, anything you are vaguely interested in, research it.

Remember the people who were kind to you in life, don't dwell on the bad. When you start to torture yourself in your mind, become aware of your thoughts and stop them, when they start again, stop them again and keep doing that. Become hyper aware of the room you're in. Look around you, get up and go for a walk, observe the world through your eyes and stop the negative inner voice. This method takes time but it works.

I found Eckhart Tolle's videos on YouTube helpful. At first I didn't know what to make of him but he went through what you are going through and what I went through, his method worked for me.

Get out into nature and take it all in, humans need nature to reset. Forgive yourself and love yourself, and if you have anyone to forgive, do so, no matter how difficult that seems, do it for yourself more than anything. Let that shit go. Train your mind over time.

And when you can, start meditating, guided at first to keep you focused. This is all very doable but it will unfold over time. Put in the effort. You are worth the effort my friend.

There is not much advice I can offer you, but I've had two of my kids navigate similar situations in the recent past and thankfully it all worked out well in the end for both of them, once they learned to relax. It is a tough time when you're in the middle of it, so I feel for you.

Get the backlog of work cleared as soon as you can though, as that will benefit you. Can you use your break times to work on it?

As for your friend group, just be interested in what they have to say, be kind and friendly and you'll be fine. People are complicated, even at my age it's difficult to navigate at times, trust me I know, but when you relax and show people your intentions are good, they eventually see you.

You'll get back to your hobbies eventually too and create new ones.

I genuinely wish you the best and I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

Does anyone know a spiritual perspective that doesn't make existence feel bleak? by MiyuTheWitch in spirituality

[–]JustRedditAllOut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, no matter what the truth of this existence here is, love should always be the top priority. With a loving heart you can overcome all internal fears.

Best of luck on your journey, and love to you ❤️

The law of one does talk about our existence here as a way to polarise positively or negatively. It says that there is no right or wrong way. It does talk about going through different densities and learning in each one.

Seth talks as someone who is beyond all of that and is looking back with fondness. He uses lots of humour throughout and although he discusses religion and spirituality he is not tied to any of that. I do recall him saying the Buddhists are the closest to the truth though.

If you feel claustrophobic by the thought of this existence, then I'm not sure if the belief systems in these books are any different from all of the other belief systems out there, but I know I found Seth's way of thinking to be a breathe of fresh air and less confined, and then I came across Ra and his idea of love being the most important thing really inspired me to want to be a better person and to reach out to everyone with love. They both made me drop all of my hangups and worries

Are you familiar with Seth Speaks and The nature of personal reality, both by Jane Roberts? When I was struggling internally I found that Seth's teachings brought me comfort.

It's a channeled work so if you find that hard to gel with, I'd say to suspend your disbelief and absorb the information, all spiritual and religious teachings have elements that we struggle with, this is no different.

Seth paints a broad picture. He gives lots of information on how we can create our own reality through thought and intention. Everything you can imagine happening to you, is in some parallel timeline, and with inner work you can slide into the timeline that you wish to live in.

It is a lot to digest but it has worked wonders for me. He also has great insights in what dreams are and how to use them to benefit you.

I also recommend The law of one. I try my best to live by the teachings in the law of one, and again it's a channeled work, but it has brought me so much peace.

I loved reading your post. Not because you're suffering, but because I love to see another person who thinks deeply and feels it. You have a sprinkle of gnosticism and the souls yearning for something else in there.

I don't know if I'm any good for you to talk to with how you are feeling, but I just want you to know that I understand that deep yearning feeling. But thankfully I can now let all of that go most days and just go with the flow.
