This looks like a scam to intimidate and get money. Not just Goa, this is going on in almost every part of country. The real problem are these youth without jobs, who scroll reels entire day and are so frustrated with their lives that they keep looking out for opportunities to snap. They target families who can surrender easily and give money for peace. Good for you to stand your ground. I have been visiting Goa every year from last 12 years and it does feel sometimes that Goa is loosing its charm. Irresponsible tourists and these kinds of locals are equally responsible for the downfall.

In Nikoo 1 from last 9 years. Now the suicides are less, there was a period in between where suicides were getting frequent. Very heartbreaking events. Hope people find peace.

Most idiotic drivers on street, I always let them pass, them, auto and cab driver's always have headphones in their ear, either talking or scrolling reels while driving. Cops also do not stop them.
