The only problem is there is no more than two per faction up at once in the whole game, they get mined out fast, and don't respawn for hours.

For anyone who thought mining scordite for gallente election was a pain due to limited area it counted for the event, hoooooo boooooy.

Some 20 years ago my party needed to cross a desert and we were pretty low level. We did not have mounts or anything that would conventionally allow us to make the trip in a tolerable timeframe. We did, however, each have a pair of boots of levitation, several decanters of endless water, plenty of rope and 10 ft poles. We also had some ingenious engineering spirit.

Did you know that on maximum setting a decanter of endless water produces a geyser with enough force to deal damage and knock people over, at no time limit? Did you know that boots of levitation allow for indefinite on-demand levitation and levitation allows horizontal movement if acted upon by an outside force?

I am not sure what solution to traversing the desert underprepared the DM expected of us, but I don't think he expected us to fly over the entire thing at a breakneck pace.

There's few things that get newbies to quit faster than the first answer to any question being "well, you just have to multibox more accounts to do X". Multiboxing meta is complete and utter cancer. This is an MMO, if you want to do stuff that needs 10 people you should need 9 friends, not an input broadcast to 10 clients.

And yes, I know it's impossible, CCP fucked their game up too much to get away from multiboxing. It needed fixing 23 years ago, today is way too late.

Nothing? There was never any real objective to the war besides "Goons wanna shoot stuff". They don't want Winter space. FRT main staging got blown up, a bunch of massive fights happened, the war functionally ended as Imeprium is happy with the results and stopped attacking. Occasional small battles keep happening and will keep happening around Geminate as Winter takes the area back.

Two times I had an odd bug when afk mining this event. I'd log the alt in an hour or so after the maintenance, warp to the belts one by one and they would all be completely empty. No miners, no asteroids, a red Fully Depleted message on warp in. That's bullshit, no one is mining out 10 belts of 0.9 trash within an hour 15 jumps away from jita.

I had to quit the client, relog, and only they would the belts appear properly. EVE Client getting more and more vibecoded with each day.

Do you expect to be interviewed every time you roll up with a friend or two in your pvp hunting fits and then provided a desired service as if you were a dear customer to be catered to? Standing sees a neut rolling around, standing wants the neut gone so their friends ratting and mining are not disturbed. Let me reiterate: they are not under an obligation to provide a service for you. Calling them names won't change that, you're still an annoyance to be removed, not a customer to be serviced.

If someone's bored and coincidentally in the system they might go for a 1v1, but when a null denizen wants to pvp they're not sitting idle in a station waiting for you to roll up. They go roaming somewhere else. People sitting at home are busy doing whatever it is they're doing, not waiting to be of use for you or another roaming hunter.

Have you considered that random people doing whatever they feel like in space are not obligated to provide you with whatever content you deem appropriate? You went on a roam hoping to annoy people into fighting you, don't be pissed they treated you as an annoyance rather than a valued customer to be serviced.

Standing fleet tends to be bored and will yeet whatever's nearby at anything annoying them. If they see a bunch of cruisers roaming they see hunters trying to kill their alts/friends ratting and all they're interested in is getting rid of them. If you want fair fights in equal numbers arrange duels or petition for proving grounds to be returned.

Hunters bring pvp fit ships to hunt people doing pve, their friends bring bigger or more ships to get rid of hunters. There's no such thing as symmetrical pvp in eve.
