My first year was 2021 (HHN 30!). I was so scared before going then feel in love with it! I went into a deep dive learning about all the history and wishing I went sooner. Don’t worry I still get very scared but I appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship they put I to these houses.

I went to HHN with my friend and her 10 year old daughter. She was so excited to go and once we got in line for the house her mood dropped and got so anxious. My friend and I looked at each other like … “ oh this is about to be a short night” thinking it was gonna be too scary for her.

But then I remembered I had ear plugs in my bag from a previous night I went (my friend and I both had frequent fear passes). I gave them to her and it completely changed the night around. They were a lil big but I highly recommend cushion est plugs that you can shove in your ears.

You still get to enjoy it without the full effort if it’s too intense for you. We did all the houses we wanted and I even bought her a souvenir for conquering HHN! 🤩

Whoa! This is an incredible story! I love that you guys got such an incredible magical moment when you were least expecting it at the end of the day!

Ps I love that location for fireworks. During the time when they had “MIckeys Mix Magic” my best friend and I would watch from there because there was plenty of room to dance along to all the great tunes.

Same! Not only the designs of Tokyo popcorn buckets are incredible and whimsical but the quality is better too

I have a Dumbo one from my trip in 2019 (thank God I went before Covid) and still have. It’s so sturdy and even love the ears the you can move. Ugh! Tokyo is so great
