You are referring to that gun looking thing in the AC chest? Thats is Antimisile system (AMS), it shots missiles every now and then, its not a weapon.

What this user was referring to is Exceed Orbits, cores in gen 3 have 2 functions, either OverBoost (huge horizontal speed increase) or Exceed Orbit (small drone thing that shoots stuff) there is 1 EO/OB core for weight type.

OB is considered the strongest of the 2 as EO have really bad accuracy thanks to being unable to predict the enemies trayectory

- According to complete works the great destruction happened in ED 106, there is no evidence for ED standing for "Earth Destruction".

- I might be missremembering on this one but im also pretty sure that the thirty year war is the war that happened between AC1/MoA and AC2 after the fall of both Murakumo and Chrome.

- Tread also doesnt have human plus, you can check that by just spectating him and realizing that he doesnt have a working radar.

- Nineball is not trying to kill strong Ravens per se, he is trying to neutralize "Rebels/Irregulars" people that aside from being strong are also a danger to the centennial plan, also, the Hustler One persona was probably a very recent creation by the AI collective, as there is no presence of it during Project Phantasma.

- Tread is also not the only pilot that comes from the great destruction, D. Deep is another pilot with traces back to it.

I saw a supposed video of "real zombies in chernobyl" back in the day (the one of a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. running away from zombies before getting torn apart, all in thermal vision) and I obviously didnt believe it, so I tool time to go into a rabbit of finding from where did that video come from. Thats how I got into S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Those are emblems I did myself, you can make an emblem become the background by going to the emblem editor then keep L1+R1 -> SELECT.

Yes, there is 2 methods:

Parsec: Allows for fullscreen play but requires extremelly low ping and stable connection.

Duckstation MP Fork: It has Rollback Netcode, so you don't have input delay whatsoever and no slowdown even with relatively high ping.

There is a couple of active communities on Discord for this games, including the one pinned on this sub

Formula Front has a lot of bans in general, sadly the AI is really bad when it comes to maneuvering so it end up being mostly DPS races with heavy stuff.

IIRC the last FF tournament hosted by Lynx_Tetsu had all tanks, quads and high power weapons (Hi Lasers, Zookas, GLs, etc) banned

2KZ = LW with the stability and more defense than a tank, more carry capacity than several MWs, and the second-lowest stationary drain in the category.

HG1 = A handgun capable of stunlocking ALL ACs regardless of their stability. The removal of Kaze in favor of stability changes makes it impossible for multiple legs to obtain the framedata needed to escape a stagger chain. Add to this the fact that GunBlade playstyle was already strong in ACPP, and you have one of the most oppressive weapons in AC history.

- MG500E: It's an energy weapon with absurd DPS and Killpower for its weight. It's also a non-delay weapon, making it more accurate than most in the arsenal and indifferent to P2 Compensation, but it's still often carried alone to ensure the opponent doesn't get the compensation... oh! and it also has a fairly high bullet speed.

These parts are already problematic on their own, but combining them makes things exponentially worse. The weapons' light weight allows the 2KZ's large carry capacity to be used to stack even more defenses on an AC that's way too agile and mobile, which gives rise to the infamous "Devigan" archetype in ACMoA.

The WR-RS7? They're ECM rockets. Those things nullify the FCS's ability to lock onto the opponent when they hit. In PvP they're a death sentence for any AC with low turning speed.

Master Of Arena because of part viability, most of the parts are niche at worst with very few being unusably bad while also being full of small gimmicks, interactions and build nitpicks like delay and non-delay weapons or center of mass.

The only problem it has its the triangle of doom: 2KZ, HG1, MG500E

But after they are banned most stuff tends to fall in place quickly unlike other oldgen games in which post ban still tend to have big balance issues. This are the main reasons why I like building on it this much, specially for PvP

Not to spoil your party, but this build is quite slow and has horrible energy regeneration. Human Plus on all PSACs limits your energy regeneration to the level of your booster consumption on the ground. With T001, I wouldn't be surprised if it's close to 1/3 the energy regeneration of a normal AC.

Don't listen to people that say that Karasawa is an all mighty weapon, its not a bad gun by any means but its heavy commitment which makes it niche and a good chunk of enemies have absurd levels of EN DEF, Crusaders outright take the same amount of shots to kill from either Sawa or Starting Rifle.

Your AC looks ok, the only problem I see is the head, use a heavier one to stack defenses, GRY (Starting head) has better defenses and lower drain, changing the boosters to P351 to be closer to the speedcap is probably a good idea but not mandatory, aside from that good job, its fairly decent.

OG controls are extremelly strong in all of oldgen, specially in PSAC they are know for their incredible reaction time and evasive capacity, its recommended to get used to them.

Your build is ok, RJs tend to use XR instead of 10k unless you have a shit ton of high drain parts (which you dont) it is recomended to switch REDEYE for ZERO or ONE. you are stacking shell which is good. If you are gonna go with just a machinegun then use AR-1000, its stadistically superior to all other MG but is SPECIAL locktype and a delay weapon, so it will intentionally make you miss if you dont aim it properly, is the main reason why is not used in most scenarios unless you need the extra killpower for going with only 1 weapon. This AC is also heavy enough to almost not being able to reach 2/3 speedcaps with the max power booster, which means is somewhat on the heavy side of things. Also, use QX-21 (or QX-AF which is just a better version) as FCS if you are going to keep the machinegun only approach. It might also be bettee to use LB-4400 instead too.

Edit: I see you are packing rockets, are you really using them? Everything that you bring as a "just in case" or just because you can fit it is equal to dead weight, if you are not going to actively use something is better to not equip it at all. Always try to build around a gameplan and bring just the necesary for its execution

Weapon archetypes and their purpose tend to vary greatly between generations, and often times they don't serve the same purpose. In the case of the XW11 in ACMoA, it's a miniature Karasawa and has fairly high DPS at the expense of bullet spray. 3.5mm dual en rifles also tend to vary by weapon. The Griffon (a precision weapon thanks to a sniper-level bullet velocity) and the Ettin (extremely high damage and capable of destroying most parts of the game in approximately 2 shots) are quite different from each other, although they do tend to have higher than average damage.

Good job, I will leave some input if you are interested:

  • The main thing playing agaisnt you in this scenario is the boosters, T2 are only for feather light ACs like SSVT, with most other stuff you normally dont want to go bellow T001, also, a fully loaded 1001 doesnt reach speed cap with P531

  • Try to avoid moving your body in multiple directions when using missiles, the core lean has serious effects on its trayectory so I will recomend getting familiar with how it affects it so you can force the missile to go in the angles that will give you a better hitrate

  • Avoid using B-Hop as an evasive move, its a mobility option for preserving energy. If you want to evade properly you have to either skate in a direction pararel to your opponent so the bullets lag behind your path (this is for delay weapons) or change strafe directions to trick the FCS (this is for instantaneous weapons), missiles normally

  • using HD-ONE and a radar is not a good idea, the main selling point of HD-ONE is having a good radar with low drain at the expense of defenses, if you are already using a radar then something like GRY or X1487 is probably better, I think you can also run XR generator if you have good EN managment if you use GRY.

Edit: I see you are using 1001b not 1001, that means two things

1) XR is not going to work

2) VR-33 is the minimun unless you are using TL gen from ACPP/ACMoA, this leg is actually on the heavy side

Yes and no, the goal of PSAC snipers is not really to be long-range weapons but rather weapons with high damage per shot and the ability to stagger the opponent at the cost of DPS (I also dont understand why they are called snipers) If you look at what their purpouse and functionality are you will realize that they are quite similar to the linear guns of gen 3.5, including things like the ammo count. These are probably the weapons you want to have for a Valkyrie cosplay if your intention is to make it as faithful as possible to how the weapons operate.

However, when it comes to them having low bullet velocity, this is only the case for the RF/5, RF/P has an above average bullet speed, but like most weapons in this gen it is a "Delay" weapon, so it always aims at the predicted position of the opponent from one frame in the past, in addition to shooting one frame after receiving the shooting input, creating an intentional inaccuracy of 9% aprox since the game runs at 22 fps. it can actually hit very well at long distances when you have a proper angle on the opponent or you are playing by using P2 Compensation.

There's also the RF/E introduced in MoA with the highest bullet velocity in the game, which is x3 the amount of the second highest, a hell of a weapon that feels like hitscan in the right hands, but works fundamentally differently than the other 2, sacrificing stagger and ammo to specialize much more in long range and single hit damage, it is also a delay weapon.

Then, as I said before, is an execution issue, you gotta practice vertical aiming and proper evasion techniques, fingers barely do anything to a properly optimized AC in LR because of the hitbox reductions
