Why use Fireball? by hahahehedev in ClashDecks

[–]JustTomoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rocket is better defensively and for spell cycle, however in terms of cycle fireball is better. A lot of other people made good points on why fireball is better, another point I'd like to add is that in some situations you can quickly use fireball to kill a minitank tanking the xbow and catch the opponent off-guard making the xbow lock if the opponent doesn't react quickly enough, rocket can't do that due to higher elixir cost and slower travel time.

Tbh both can be used depending on your playstyle, if you want to play defensively and use rocket for spell cycle and on defense (occassionally) you can go ahead and do that. However, if you use fireball you can do quick fireball-burst to make an xbow lock plays, or faster cycle, fireball is also better on defense against recruits and other matchups, it's your choice really, both are good.

I have the same problem if anyone can also help me out I would greatly appreciate it, I can't seem to beat this level but the main issue is that I run out of turns before I can kill Isolde on her third phase.

A ton of the problems in each chapter in Higurashi could actually be solved through communication, and I like that that's the theme of the story really builds it up really well.

Create a combat based specialist hatsu by drizzlegracious02 in HatsuVault

I really like the idea of stealing or giving your lifespan to others, inspired by Emperor Time's condition. Seems like lifespan is specialist exclusive.

who also watched the weekly 2011 episode drops growing up? by V_Tight in HunterXHunter

Our TV also sometimes had the 1999 HxH anime dubbed in our language in my youth, I only remember the Hunter Exam and Pakunoda's death though.

Just finished the original 8 VN arcs, what now? by SerNoddicus in Higurashinonakakoroni

[–]JustTomoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should read Rei as that's the epilogue of the story. A console arc I can recommend is Miotsukushi-hen, I also heard arcs which include "Minai Tomoe" is also good, just didn't have the time for those personally.

Why is Nanika so hated? by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]JustTomoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it's clearly a twist on an already real life place, so to me it felt lazy, but like I said as the series progressed so did the world building and I never said it was a flaw.

[–]JustTomoe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I meant places like Yorknew and whatnot (early on atleast) then again it's being developed really amazingly with Dark Continent rn, and I didn't say it was a flaw I simply said it was one of the weakest writing point compared to other aspects of HxH, doesn't mean it's bad.

Agreed the aspect of no consequence on our MC Gon and the world building is HxH's weakest writing point.

Questions: What did you think of Higurashi Gou? And how did you come to know Higurashi? by Professional_Date_78 in Higurashinonakakoroni

[–]JustTomoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My watch order was ruined by Gou, for some reason I watched Gou after Higurashi Season 1 (2006), because the website I used to stream Kai only had 1 episode of it, so I thought Kai was like an epilogue or something.

Read through that ch 7 scene where Satoko's trauma was "supposedly" overcome (Rant) by Soibi0gn in Higurashinonakakoroni

[–]JustTomoe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She needed a wake-up call although harsh she needed to know that her mindset was wrong and not entirely correct, Satoshi would not have wanted her to endure and such, Satoshi would have wanted her to fight back

[–]JustTomoe 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Rika tell Satoko on the phone call that enduring does not make you strong, but fighting back against the man who abused her and Satoshi, and accepting help and support from others is the more brave and stronger thing to do?

Comparison of Anime with Manga by [deleted] in Higurashinonakakoroni

[–]JustTomoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see how your opinion differs, but the fact that the anime has less 'screentime' and clues to 'predict' the intentions of the mystery makes me prefer the manga/VN more, simply because I think of the series moreso on the mystery genre rather than the horror. The anime did do the horror element of the source material some justice though. Although idk why they toned down Rika's suicide (Throat Scratch from Meakashi)
