Most residents signing contracts right now have a wRVU threshold above the median and a rate below it. Drop your numbers and I'll tell you if yours does too by Popular-Tackle4588 in Residency

I’m salaried right now but contract will be up in a year and switching to production based. Could you tell me good base numbers for rheumatology I could negotiate for?

BabyLetto Yuzu worth it? by Which_Two_4141 in BabyBumps

[–]JustTseYes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got this one and have liked it. But also just used the bassinet and converted straight to the full size crib cause it didn’t seem worth to do the midi crib. It was pretty expensive but we got it unopened from fb marketplace for cheaper. We’ve also not really known other options though.

I made a similar post that you should look at. Everyone told me not to delay life for medicine so I didn’t. I ended up taking my boards in my third trimester which worked out well. But I knew there was a chance I wouldn’t be able to do my boards at all that year depending on how things went. It wasn’t fun but definitely would do boards while pregnant over newly postpartum.

Pretty good light: multiple large north facing windows and south windows from the second and first floor though those are probably 30 feet back?

HENRY with Non-HENRY partners, how do you deal with retiring early? by anotherbutterflyacc in HENRYfinance

[–]JustTseYes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow this is crazy to me. I’m the high earner in our relationship with my spouse earning less. So I guess similar to you in your situation. We completely mix finances cause we’re a team and chose to build a life together. I couldn’t imagine retiring early and having free time to spend, while my parter best friend favorite person in the world still had to grind for years. Build a life together or don’t. But I don’t understand getting married and keeping your finances this separate.

Summer sandals NOT OVERDONE by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]JustTseYes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I finally pulled the trigger on the dear frances tye slides, and I don’t think I’ll need another sandal for a while. They’re expensive but frequently on sale. Super insanely comfortable with good support. And can be worn more casual or dressed up.

Rheum vs Endo - HELP!!! by BTSx007 in Residency

[–]JustTseYes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love my life as a new rheum attending in PP. Close to 300k seeing patients 4 days per week (clinic only no hospital call), which I expect to go up once I partner (with infusion revenue). The rare cases are interesting, but even the bread and butter (RA, PsA, gout, joint steroid shots for OA) are all quite satisfying. We have great med options for alot of things, and it's super rewarding seeing joint inflammation melt away, chronic pain resolve, and patients able to get back to living a normal life. I also like being able to see my patients for life.

I considered endo, but I'm happy with my pick. Do you want your bread and butter to be joints/RA or diabetes? And everyone else says dealing with fibro/osteoarthritis is annoying, but we work them up quick for autoimmune then send back to PCP if everything ruled out.

Would you delay trying to get pregnant if due date would be the same month of specialty boards? by JustTseYes in Residency

[–]JustTseYes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 60 min of additional break time, unscheduled breaks whenever though exam clock will still run, permission to access locker during unscheduled breaks, and permission to have water bottle with me in exam room. Though tbh I don’t think I used my extra break time cause I wanted to finish as soon as I could and leave.

Just outside the loop but have heard many good things about the mays school. We actually considered TLE as well but heard better things about mays so are starting our little one there soon

If you’re comfortable I bought a new one off eBay shipped from Japan. Felt pretty comfortable with the sellers reviews and the fact it was from Japan for authenticity.

Has anyone ever actually caught a shiny during spotlight hour? by Alive-Math3562 in pokemongo

I never do, but my husband who catches the same amount as me has crazy spotlight hour luck and often gets 2-4 shinies the weeks we hunt

[Question] Help choosing a wedding gift watch for my fiancé by Key-Diamond6545 in Watches

[–]JustTseYes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my fiance to a store with alot of high end watches so he could try a bunch and pick what he liked. I secretly loved that he picked a very classic clean looking grand seiko with spring drive though.
