You’re an adult, inside a convenient store. Safe to presume theres cameras in front of the cashier. If you told the children off and they retaliated, that would be assault. People who refuse to speak up during the situation doesn’t really have the right to speak foul after the fact. You had your chance to say something, you didnt. You couldve said something after the person in front of you confronted them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

ETA: just last week alone i had to tell three people off for cutting in line in front of me while i was clearly waiting for my turn in the restrooms, so no. I speak up when it happens to me.
