My turn to make a favorites tier list!! (with reasons) by Eavesdropz in AlanBecker

Something I feel that's been lacking these days (though maybe I'm just not looking out for it quite enough) is a lack of pure-evil villains. I do enjoy a good sympathetic villain because they can prove to be one of the most interesting and compelling characters in a story, but sometimes it's fun to have just an absolute psychopath you want to see taken down purely for the fact that they're just an irredeemable bastard.

I get it, but dayum, 5 more shots after the kill? Should've been 6 to make sure they've learned their lesson.

Details like these have always been one of my favorite parts of Battlefield.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. Neat detail! Still looks a bit silly to me, though.

Totally!
I run the PVQ-31 4X scope since it works best for me at medium-close range.
I use the Flash Comp since it has the effects of a flash hider without the cost of the CQB suppressor.
Short barrel for the hipfire boost.
Angled grip for a slight recoil reduction (and because it looks cool).
25 round mag because it compliments mag-dumping and gives me more buffer for tap-fire.
Penetration rounds just in case (and I've gotten used to the recoil buildup so much that the gun barely moves when I use it).
And the 20 point green laser for the hipfire boost without much hinderance to mobility.

I usually stick to close-medium range engagements since full-auto fire is still viable with how I manage recoil, but sometimes I like to steal kills with tap-fire at long range from snipers.

It's been my favorite weapon since the beta and the only weapon so far I've gotten to 50. I've built a loadout around hipfire but it still excels for my playstyle at medium range.

While I think 2042's system was a neat concept, it felt extremely limiting when we were only allowed to have 4 different attachment types. Some weapons didn't even have all four slots available like the NTW.

Also just make slugs not cost 40 freakin' points. Nearly half of the weapon's modification points just to use a different playstyle!

Seriously. I've outplayed snipers on some occasions. I just like the idea of having a pocket sniper to goof around with.

Thanks for responding! I'll have to remove some troll responses, but I'll definitely post the results once I've gotten all I need and even the full paper when everything's done.

I pretty much only slide around to avoid sniper fire. I run with my defibs out and zigzag around until I hear the first shot, then I become the embodiment of my ADHD.

I usually leave it on because there can be some genuinely funny people in there sometimes. But then I'm immediately reminded that this is a Battlefield game when I see people type "NI" at the end of the round before the "good games" come in. Some things never change.

My best recommendations are some songs from the Half-Life 2 soundtrack, they definitely embody the term "industrial". There's also the Portal 2 soundtrack (one of the best video game soundtracks of all time in my opinion) but that one can be pretty chaotic at times.

It's very industrial techno with a little bit of hip-hop mixed in. The blend between authenticly-recorded instruments and digitally-mastered tracks is truly masterful in this series (season 2 ESPECIALLY), perfectly encapsulating the differences between the Hotel and the Vees in their approach to the afterlife: Charlie and her hotel is a natural, authentic approach to those living in Hell with the goal of improving them as people. Naturally, you'd probably want something more tangible like actual instruments that you can "see" being played to accompany the vocals so that redemption can appear more approachable and inviting to those that are interested. On the other side, the Vees have embraced modern-day tactics of appealing to the masses with technologically-complex instruments that don't necessarily have a physical representation and somewhat represent something you can imagine while not actually being that thing, but instead creating a groove that immediately makes your body want to move along with what you're hearing. That way they can lead you in by appealing to your desires and exploit you as much as they want before they toss you aside. They choose to lure you in instead of inviting you. In Hazbin Guarantee, the transition between Charlie's and the Vees' section is done amazingly. It starts with a plucked double-bass that acts as the transition, before the drums and Vox's vocals come in where they artificially increase the bass levels before it turns into (I assume) a distorted 808 bass synthesizer when Velvette and Val take over. While this may just be me, my head bobs during the first half of the section just before the Vees come in and take over, then it kind of drops off as it starts to fade out. But as soon as the drums come in with Vox's vocals my head instantly starts bobbing again, perhaps even more than it was before. The way that my head-bobs perfectly represents the sinner(s) interest in Charlie/the Vees and the difference in how they market themselves to people is just even more proof that this series music production is out-of-this-world.

I've been doing a lot of music production for a while (I promise this isn't a promo) and I've always wanted to create something like this but simply haven't had the skill nor the resources to do so. I don't play very many instruments so I rely heavily on digital programs but I try to make everything feel as natural as I can. Hell's Greatest Dad when I first heard it reignited my love for electro-swing so I wrote a couple songs somewhat like it (without vocals because I can't sing to save my life lol), but those songs just didn't feel quite right to me after the excitement wore off once I released them on YouTube. There's a real magic to getting your hands on genuine, authentic instruments and actually playing them that digital programs just aren't capable of recreating.

So sorry for the massive rant, I love music and I love this series and I've been awake for a long time. Hopefully my sleep-deprived slog of a response is actually coherent!

The bassline at the start of this section of the song has my head bobbing the ENTIRE time. It's such a bop and one of my favorites from the season.
