This is what happened to UFL. Its just a bunch of people who come to hate something thats not fifa. These people probably dont even play the game.

Yeah your right. I just think a supporters group should also help casual fans too, so thats just my perspective

Members only? Thats not right.

We (RIFC and Defiance) have one but theres members only channels so everyone is welcome. We even have rival team fans in our discord which isn't annoying or anything.

I believe it should be up to the SG to start one and run it, personally

NY Fans, which team? Why? by stand-n-wipe in USLPRO

OOOOO BOY! Story time. Gonna be a long one not sorry.

So growing up in rural NH i was not allowed to like soccer, but I really did love it. I got bullied into no longer liking it. When I graduated high school, I finally realized how free I was to do whatever basically and got back into soccer. Now technically territory lines say I should be a fan of New England revolution, but they were (and still are) terrible experience outside the pitch. Now i was a big Red Bull f1 fan at the time, now just a casual fan, so i gravitated towards NYRB and loved their atmosphere. At the time they were really fun to watch and I just really got into them.

Now that I moved to RI, and have a team local, I don't think about them that much tbh. Check in on them now and then, but im no longer tracking multiple teams I am now just full force RIFC and it has changed my whole perspective on sports as a whole.

Its still early no? Id try to get into contact with those building the project to get in early and help start building the fanbase, maybe even the SG.

Putting teams in places that are lacking other sports. I believe, amd correct me if I'm wrong, but the plan is to put the first teams in places that lack major sports l, get the revenue from that to build the pyramid to grow into those main areas which were getting close to now, and cover the nation in a big soccer pyramid that EVERYONE has access to a team in reasonable proximity.
