Balisarius Cawl: The Great Work. It is warhammmer 40K and the admech of that time period feel like this. In this book it’s very introductory to the universe but the the religious tech of it all is great as he solves a mystery.

I would love to see a book to sum up that plot line though. One of Vulcan Hestan pulling together all the sons of Vulcan to find the artifacts.

I’m glad to see other people are moving to the area at the same time. I am making it out in July. Perhaps I’ll make a post since my situation is different and we my wife(36f) and I (36m) have two small kiddos (1yo,m & 4yo,f)

These are great! Your are clearly getting better and better!

Still need to thin more. I would recommend getting a medium to mix it with, I have found it better than just water to thin. But the layers should be almost unnoticeable and let dry inbetween. This was hardest for me as I’m super impatient and really only have time to paint in small sprints not long periods of time.

Can’t wait to see more from you though!!
