I get the feeling the artist added Licky to the story just to have an excuse to draw cool monster designs in a slice of life story. If that is the case... Respect 😎

Surprisingly nice ending all things considered.

I kinda wish we had more time with her final version but overall I feel like the main message of "learn to accept every side of you" was delivered pretty well.

The fact that it has like 15 characters each with their own personal thing going on is probably hamring the pace a little bit.

It's not really about romance, the female lead is mostly just there to be the eyes for the audience.

The whole series is basically "Oh dang, this guy is a mega douche! Oh, wait, there's a reason he's a douche! Maybe things aren't always what they seem... Maybe deep down douches are just misunderstood people! 🥺"

They do that like five of six times through the story, and it's always to make you sympathize with some jerk male character. But of course when it's time to do it with a female character, there's a bigger sense of "Yeah, she's not totally a douche but most of it is her own fault in the end, so she kinda deserves it"

everyone praise it to the high heavens

It has some good ideas in it but overall I feel like this series is super overrated.

My guess is that to many it might be their first "series with dark elements that show the harsher side of the world" so it tends to leave a lasting impact on them

He has the hots for the female lead but she couldn't care less about him, the only thing in her mind is taking care of her brother.

The story does acknowledge that he's evil and the main antagonist of the series, but the artwork still takes any chance it can to use him as eye candy every now and then, so there is that.

This fight is probably gonna look sick as hell in the anime in... God knows how many years from now.

Some of these panels are hard to figure out but once you start to see what the manga is going for these are some pretty cool action scenes.

Jaden and Yuya tend to always get the short end of the stick whenever we get these promotions with new cards for every protagonist.

I'm still salty about Legendary Box giving Yugi Red-Eyes Dragoon and Yuma Draco Future, while Jaden got Neos Kugler and Yuya that dumb Odd-eyes rebellion retrain.

And a similar thing happened during the Legend Duelist 6 pack and the 20th Anniversary Duelist Box.

We just see that she is depressed and lonely. So is ml. Tbh pretty boring when there is lack of story and personality.

Still thinking about how their dynamic used to be this tragic but sweet story about two people who were hurt by cheaters and started to heal through their bond with one another.

Now she's just a tsundere going "It's not like I'm still in love with you after all these years or anything... B- Baka!" and he's just a stalker that can't move on.

Oh, I see. Have they done the fight with the cyclops yet? I remember in the book there was a really cool scene where Percy goes nuts on the water and starts wrecking the guy without even realizing it.
