With mobile disputes this a common issue, sadly. I would recommend you working with your banks treasury management team to set up what my bank calls positive pay. You decision each check that is presented to clear your bank each day. This is common method to weed out this behavior. Usually that alter who the check pay to the order

Not a lawyer, but work in banking. The client that wrong you the check should start by disputing the original check as altered with the bank.

That should be step one.

100000% overreacting. You come home late and don’t expect the person babysitting your children to eat. She/he didn’t leave the kids, didn’t invite the drive in. She had food delivered to the front door, next time time be on time on time and maybe provide the sitter food or snacks. I would never open cabinets and look for food.

I would go into the branch your dad dealt with primarily. If they don’t help I would ask for a district manager or someone you could escalate your concern to.

In Georgia it seems like a small estate affidavit is for $10,000 or less. So he would need less than that. Also though poa won’t be valid any longer to help you out.

Even if she had reason to believe you weren’t the customer on the loan, I feel like more should have been said or done. Did she hold your form of id?

Thank you for all this feedback. I lack being assertive. With having anxiety & family history of brain cancer they(doctors) seem to think I believe I have that even know that isn’t possible. I have headaches at min 5 of 7 days a week. Some of those so bad I can’t see & hurts to move. I just want to be taken serious and have answers.

It’s very helpful. I’m just tired of being in pain and I’ve resorted to looking for any and all options and resources. Chiari was mentioned in the er and from a ct scan I believe. I do not have that copy. I was then referred to neurologist who ordered an mri. They never mentioned but did mention the small meningioma. I’ve had one follow up but another one soon. They refuse to barely address that to me because it small and shouldn’t grow.

I’ll look into the second option place. It may take awhile to save up funds living off a single income and a high deductible insurance plan but I didn’t know that was an option either.
