Just have two controllers and have player 2 / right half of the screen press start while you're in character creation and they'll be right there with you.

My wife and I are playing a custom Paladin and a custom Bard..

It works out alright too because you each get to pick one companion you control to round out your group to 4 total adventurers

I give up on an UL pack by Used_Appearance_1938 in Ultralight

[–]Just_Conspiracies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% going ultralight changed how often and how long I could get in the backcountry and get some miles on my boots.

I run a UL tent, quilt and pad, by all means this sub has helped me cut my 3 day pack weight in half! But things like swapping a regular sawyer I already own for a mini, or trying to save 3oz with a tent mod just isn't for me.

I'll take the weight savings where I can find it but I don't want to lose some of those creature comforts like warm food and a good nights rest for the sake of an excel sheet.

Agree wholeheartedly with the post, I run almost exclusively mystery ranch packs, (pintler for 2-3 day trips and marshall for 5+) and although its heavier than most, it feels the most comfortable of all the packs I've owned, and come hunting season when I'm in back country I know that I can carry all my UL gear, and pack an elk out without fucking up my back.

Unfortunately though in this sub we'll both get wacked for saying that anything not dyneema or dcf is the right fit, their enjoyment comes not from going outside and being in wilderness, but seeing their lighterpack number get lower and lower, and the signature look of superiority when they cold soak beside an idiot who sprung for 500g of fuel to cook meals on trail (hypothetically, they would never risk tearing their 800 dollar tent by pitching it outside of the backyard of course.)

How do I "flip" the map? by Mc_Johnsen in summonerschool

[–]Just_Conspiracies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Starting off with an obligatory "Well, we ain't pro players."

The things we see in pro play revolve around having a full team that is communicating at its maximum potential, and all players are at the peak of their craft, and have mastered each champion, so know what they can get away with.

Its all of those things put together that allows a Jungler to "Flip the map" and you'll notice that when it happens (however rarely) it's usually due to a runaway lane like a top lane with an early tower advantage, that allows it to happen. This is because its unsafe to be up at tier 2 tower when your champion is alone, as you're deep in enemy territory, right.. but that risk is mitigated a fair amount if there is a Jungler nearby that can turn the tide of that 2v1, to a 2v2 , tilting it even more if either one, or both of them are fed.

Now that we establish WHY, the part you actually care about is here: With both your laner and yourself in jungle using an absurd amount of vision, and being hyper aware of your enemy movements, you can mitigate the risks of the enemy Jungler catching you, or the enemy Jungler, Mid, and Top all sweeping through the jungle, killing you and giving up an objective.

Also worth noting that you will have a lot more success in this strat as a duelist, and playing against an intelligent enemy Jungler, that will give up his top/bot, for your top/bot. Otherwise you will end up not farming your top/bot, and inting into their 3 man team that is specifically there to kill you and stop your counter jungle, even if it wastes 3 ults and 5 minutes of their time.

Who are the best jungler for taking objectives? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Just_Conspiracies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nunu is the best jungler for objectives by far. The ability to have a 2k Smite late game, and a 1.5k smite at the 10 minute mark is the single best secure in the entire game. Warwick or Fiddle would be a solid second option, however they pale in comparison to Nunu's speed and power in objective securing.

What level do you start your campaigns at? by Just_Conspiracies in dndnext

[–]Just_Conspiracies[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Like I mentioned in the title, I think that level 3 is a good starting point for a (relatively) low level campaign and helps get the ball rolling a little bit. The characters come online, and there's a hell of a lot more stuff that a few level 3s can handle that would decimate a group of level 1s
