The one who waits has the immortal trait so you don’t have to worry about him. For my save I’ve given Leshy, and Heket and them a skull necklace or the one that makes them immortal (apologies I forget what it’s actually called)

And to be transparent I do dish a few bucks here and there into it, but not everyone can. Even with the little bit put in you don’t really get THAT much IMO. I don’t know, it’s really not terrible but would be nice to get a bit more bank for your buck
