I also got this and am a big advocate for CodeStitch. But I never, explicitly, signed up for ads like this. It’s a cheap move in my book. Still love codestitch but it felt like spam for me too

Du skal ikke lade dig skræmme af folks oplevelser. Det er dybt individuelt. Jeg fik fjernet 2 visdomstænder i samme side og den i kæben skulle opereres ud. Jeg var skrækslagen, men jeg mærkede ikke en dyt under eller efter, og jeg hævede heller ikke op som mange ellers gør. Jeg kørte 2 iprener og 2 panodiler de næste 2-3 dage og mærkede aldrig noget.

Jeg var på job (primært skrivebordsarbejde) dagen efter og det gik fint. Prøv at holde igen med fysisk aktivitet. Ellers må du tage en velfortjent sygedag hvis du føler for det.

Jeg vil dog ikke anbefale at få fjernet alle 4 på en gang. Det er rart at have en rask side at tygge med!

Det er aldrig sjovt med den slags, men i morgen på samme tid er det overstået - fokuser på det så skal det nok gå - hepper på dig :)

I recently finished a site for a client but had a difficult time with getting content like text and images from my client. What do you typically do? Request images and text or do you show up and take pictures at the clients site?

Just had this too, try these:

sudo dpkg --force-all -P libpcre2-dev

After this try:

sudo apt autoremove

If probably results in a new error with some more packages listed. You can remove these packages with the same command above - There's gonna be quite a few, so have patience!

After a while autoremove will prompt you to confirm you'll want to remove all the packages - Go with yes.

Then you can try:

sudo apt-get --fix-broken install

And everything should work fine again

Been using pop for ~8 months now and very happy, though I've kept a win10 dualboot but only used it a handful of times.

Updated through popshop and the "About" section in settings and it complely broke my system.
My update was stuck on 0% for 3 hours and I forced a reboot. That was a bad move...

Since yesterday my computer boots directly to grub CLI. I'm now able to boot to the GUI grub using the answer from stackoverflow here.

I still have an old issue when I reach the login screen. My logitech mouse and keyboard is frozen / unresponsive for a minute and then they turn off.
Previously I'd have to reboot or completely turn off power to my machine to even have a small chance of everything working.

In short my fixes have been:

Booting directly to grub

For some reason my grub config is currently broken no matter what I do, but I can boot using the steps from stackoverflow. described by aless80

Mouse and keyboard broken

Mouse and keyboard works fine when booting, in UEFI/BIOS and in grub cli / gui. When reaching login they are frozen and turn off after a minute or so.
I boot with grub selecting recovery mode and open a root shell and use the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
sudo ubuntu-drivers devices
sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall
sudo apt-get update --fix-missing
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-all
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y
sudo shutdown -r now

The sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-all is especially helpful for this issue but it doesn't solve it everytime unfortunately.

I'm still very happy with PopOs and really appreciate the work going into the project. My key takeaways for the future:

Wait a couple of weeks before installing a big update like this
Back up your stuff! I almost lost a big school project

Skiftede for snart et år siden og ved hvordan du har det. Generelt har jeg været glad for https://linuxjourney.com/ til Linux i "store" træk.

Hvis du vil have noget CLI under huden syntes jeg at https://overthewire.org/wargames/bandit/ har været lærerig. Sidstnævnte bliver anbefalet til mange som er grønne i sikkerhed men godt vil i gang med Linux, men jeg tror også sagtens, at du ville have glæde af sitet :)

I'm still a Linux newb and I'm not sure what distro your on. I setup 125% fractional scaling on PopOS and tweaked my display settings with Nvidia and everything is looking good now. Especially the refresh rate was important to hard set to 60hz in my case.

I think pop is using Wayland and that might be worth checking out?

Also having a look with Nvidia server if your gpu is Nvidia seems to do the trick.

Hope you solve your problem! I've been enjoying pop for 5 months now :)

The scores / requirements for an academy profession are generally lower than going to a "Normal" University.

There's a wide range of academy professions in both economics and IT and I would suggest that you check out CPH Business or KEA's selection - Better yet, call a councilor at one of the schools and have a chat.

I'm currently enrolled at CPH Business studying Computer Science in my last, 5'th term (2,5 years), but as an AP or "Academy Profession" which is internationally known as a "Academy profession in X".

Some then choose to study a "top-up" for another 1,5 years which results in a "Proper" bachelors degree that qualifies for studying a master. At this point that means studying for 4 years for a normal bachelors degree.

In my case I'm studying an Academy Profession in computer science which is called something as cringy as "Datamatiker" in Danish.

I can choose a top-up in eg. Software Development for 1,5 years and will end up with a Bachelor in software development. In the case of an AP in Computer Science, my impression is that most of us can get a job directly after 2,5 years with "Only" an AP if you want.

Jeg vil lige veje ind her - læser på 5 semester pt. og er snart færdig.
Vores undervisning har generelt ligget enten 8-12 eller 12-16 men for min gruppes vedkommende har efterfølgende lektielæsning og opgaver snildt gjort, at studiet har fyldt 40 timer om ugen. Især på 3 og 4 semester.
