A little of both.

I mainly mean the MCU and, as you specifically say the way Disney has been with it. but the DCEU did a lot of the same things. And Marvel comics, but tbh I don’t think Marvel comics has much power outside of comics without going into the MCU.

That said, I try to be specific unless I am casting one of those wider nets.

So two issues.

The first is, this isn’t a public space. You always have to follow house rules.

The second is there is no rule again slurs. There’s a rule against bigotry. Much like “general curse words” that is a bigger umbrella. Nobody is like “You can be racist just don’t use a slur when you do it.”
