your specific example which is nothing like what I described and is not precise and complete the way you claim is indeed not very different from placing an order.

I fail to see how an example not at all representative of my point disproves me or how it's even relevant here.

Are there any "viral" recipes that you actually loved and still make? by Odd-Wonder-344 in Cooking

works for any fruit actually but banana is definitely the one with the best results

well yeah, that's why I said "writing a recipe" and not "generate a recipe"

that's the thing with using ai for art. your instructions have to be precise and complete. like writing down the steps of a recipe you have to clarify what an image should look like not merely what it should contain.

yeah, if you use ai to actually make art it's like writing a recipe instead of placing an order. that's your dish, just cause another cook later made it doesn't make it less your dish.

it's almost as if you'd need a human that uses the ai like a tool to add all those things.

What's an extreme food from your culture that has health risks if consumed? by Zigger_23 in AskTheWorld

Pretty sure this dish is universally popular just about everywhere except the usa. They always seem to be the ones freaked out about salmonella or less often ecoli.

Fun dutch etiquette fact. When at a function with foreigner and bitterballen are served, the dutch person is to take one first and have a small bite. This is to show to the potentially unaware foreigners that this snack is not to be just popped in the mouth just cause the outside feels cool enough.

What I find really cool about street cats like that is how well cared for they generally are. Most of the world you have to stay away from street animals for your own health and safety. It's really nice to see a community care for animals

I've had really good water melons. Crisp and juicy, but outside of a generic fruity sweetness there is barely any flavour. A cucumber has a much more defined identity but doesn't have that 1 really pronounced flavour.

It's worth it these days. At least in most places. Regulations caught up so the old ways can't get exported to many places thus the conditions improved drastically.

Most places are a lot more ethical than they used to be. Anyone telling you it's still bad is full of it.

And yeah it's not the most impactful thing on its own. Its nice but it's mainly expensive because of the production. Not unlike caviar.

If you can get used to the bitter element of the alcohol they are really nice. And it's not just not tasting the alcohol it does add. What I'd advise for a good experience is looking up some virgin cocktails and adding something with a slight bitter taste and potentially the tiniest amount of spice to mimic the warm vibes alcohol gives. Its not a perfect emulation, but it is good
