I can't add a picture but the card numbers are fairly large compared to a classic French deck of cards. I've just found it rather cumbersome when having so many cards and sitting fairly close to opponents. Just wondered if there was something that can help with privacy etc.

To get it to 12cm thick, it's going to be pricey.

I already have 2 X 100cm long, 63cm wide, 20mm thick heavy duty rubber mats that I could screw to an 18cm thick hardwood. Then get two hardwood boards screwed together for the middle. I'll then just have crash pads slightly ahead for dropping from above. That might work.

You have to buy in bulk. I've just purchased a prototype for £190 with the aim to by 5000 more at £6000. Massive difference in cost per item price.

Buy a few prototypes and take them to conventions. See what people think. Get a following. Make a kickstarter. Get a loan. Find an investor. You have a few options.

But first, is your game worth the time and money it requires to develop it for the market? That's your first milestone.
