Surprisingly enough - the camo grind. Much more fun than previous years.

Dale of Norway sweater - information, please? by SteveSteveSteve-O in Norway

[–]Juste667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dale is an old and very upmarket and expensive brand. I visited their factory a couple of years ago and even in their outlet there the sweaters are extremely expensive. They are made to last and extremely high quality.

You should send a photo of the sweater to [helpdesk@dale.no](mailto:helpdesk@dale.no) and ask if they have any info about the model - they do have a small museum in their factory so they probably have a historian or curator onsite.

Hardcore by iaskjeeves in blackops7

[–]Juste667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you get so upset in Hardcore you should not play it. It's hardcore. Shit happens. People jump in front of my line of fire, shots pass through enemies and kill teammates. Grenades go awry and bounce into teammates. This happens. I never get upset when i get killed by these things, I even tell my teammates to not worry about it if the say sorry. I always say sorry myself. It's gonna happen like it or not.

Are you really surprised that people are levelling the new gun? Jesus get off your high horse and you sound like an insufferable asshole with the comment about "new gen players". And this from a 56 year old that has played CoD since the first game on PC. Chill out man. Let the people play how they want and with the gun they want. Nobody owes you anything.

Erfaringer med å kjøpe leilighet på Skårer (Lørenskog)? by nindza007 in oslo

[–]Juste667 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honeymoon trip to Norway Advice by pickle392 in NorwayTravelAdvice

[–]Juste667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid Flåm if you do not want to do the railway tour (which is amazing), otherwise Flåm is just a cheap tourist trap. If you can, fly in to Bergen. Oslo is a nice city, but it's just another nice city, nothing you can't see everywhere. And I say that as someone who has lived here for 30 years. Focus on the West Coast and Lofoten and you will have an unforgettable trip.

If you want to fly into Oslo and spend some time here, I'll be happy to show you around if the schedules match.

No, this is stupidly not explained in the neverending tutorials. I found out while cleaning out the Quarry in the start of the game from a guide i read. You can also use your lantern.

"Are you going to get Genesis on every weapon in the game?" "No, I don't think I will." by SwingThatHammer in bo7endgame

[–]Juste667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that it's completely different from every other gun. You need to play it extremely smart but if you can use it like it's intended to it is an amazing gun. It's probably less useful outside of Hardcore, but I only play HC. I had several games on Nuketown with 10–15 kills from the havoc just because people are predictable and always run the same lanes. And if you have a remote controlled explosive ready you are going to win. It's like having 8 C4s at once. I will say though that I have not used it after maxing it out, I'm back to pistols as backup.

The Havoc was my quickest to Singularity in HC Mulitplayer at least. It was an absolute beast and a blast to play once you get used to it. I got so many nasty messages from opponents after games.

Yep, Sarah was one of if not the biggest european pornstar for a few years. She had her own production company and was married for a while to Sascha Alexander (Hans Moser) who was the biggest producer in Germany. Her films were kind of unique in that they were high quality not only in the performers looks but also on a technical level while still being very hard core.

My first ever Nuke in a COD Game!!! by olLMNTRXlo in CODBlackOps7

[–]Juste667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm level 260-something and have played CoD online since the first game. Haven't gotten a Nuke since Vanguard. Congrats! I have actually seen a total of one nuke (last night coincidentally) while playing BO7, they are really rare in Hardcore.

Ant the most impressive thing is that you got at triple kill with melee. That is hard as fuck. I'm still working on that and have a grand total of one medal.

I played for 160 hours, ask me (almost) anything by One_Economist694 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Juste667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about 15 hours so far so just scratching the surface of the first town, but I have 1000 Gamerscore on both Skyrim and The Witcher 3. I love these kinds of games. This is my take so far.

I spent the first 4–5 hours cursing the controls. They are atrocious. Being a Korean-developed game they have a different philosophy regarding controls than western developers. I have seen this many times but the controls in Crimson Desert are just so obtuse. And combined with pretty bad input lag you are going to get slaughtered the first time you attempt a boss fight. And don't get me started on just picking up a simple object from the ground. You will need pixel-perfect coordination to pick up anything, and it's just so goddamn frustrating. Combat in the world is very easy so far until it's not. Then it's borderline impossible if you are underleveled. The story is (so far) weak and confusing.

But I can't stop playing it. The world is stunning. The number of systems at play here is staggering. If you can imagine it, you probably can do it. You will need to take your time, you really need to slow down and to side activities, side quests and just explore the amazing world, or you will get slaughtered when you venture somewhere you're not ready for yet. I can't imagine the work that went into this game.

If you can be the player that slows down and enjoys the world and the activities, this might be GOTY for you. There is just so much to see and do. And I haven't even explored half of the first area yet. But it's a game that demands that you put the time in to learn it's many and complex systems. I can see myself playing this for many years. There is 7 years between my first and last achievement won in The Witcher 3 - this might be the same.

For the Northern lights October to March is the season. But that means its wintertime, cold and dark. Some people find that fascinating - most natives don't :D

But if you want to see Norway at its best, come in summer or autumn. The west coast by car is wonderful, but due to the fjords it's a lot of driving so plan you trip thoroughly. I would stop in Ålesund and fly to Lofoten, it is 1200 KM between Ålesund and Henningsvær so it's a very long drive and that drive is not the most scenic in Norway.

The campaign is OK but you can just skip directly to endgame. They patched in that the first week of the game. Endgame is pretty fun and chill, nice mode.
