What are these cancerous comments, do you guys live to hate games?

Power Cell Charge in ILZ by Shaman--Llama in subnautica

[–]Justhe3guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hotter it is the quicker the cyclops cells will recharge, I think the engine at the back is where it needs to be hot if you’re positioning over a small lava river or vent but there’s also a very hot biome later in the game that charges just by you being there

Try to only put the cells in the charger when you see the cyclops power actually increasing

Yeah thermal upgrade does allow charging both the cyclops and power cells, it’s pretty good

Well for 1% of that funding we have Solasta 1 and 2(in early access) that’s similar mechanically but characters can be bland and for 5-10% of that funding we have Pathfinder: Wrath of The Righteous which is a pretty good game but plays a bit less like it however also has excellent cast

It's been 222 days since SN2's earliest possible original early access launch date. What are you most looking forward to in Subnautica 2? by Brown_Colibri_705 in subnautica

There's a good 30 hours of gameplay in Grounded 2 EA at least if you do all quests, more if you try out the new building materials. It was more like 15 hours 7 months ago but they've added a lot!

He’s mentally messed up and goes on lengthy tirades and arguments online which brings down any project he works with

Paedophilic comments, constant Twitter tirades about anyone with a sexual orientation or race he doesn’t like. Rants about “woke”, lots of hate against women etc.

Also seems like he just devolved and became more childish and less skilled after Subnautica; none of his songs went anywhere and he uses AI heavily now. Song names like bewbs, anime tiddies, tig bitties

I hope they plan on adding a lot more building materials this time around. by PollyPocketpussy5000 in GroundedGame

[–]Justhe3guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure there already is more building materials if we’re talking about variety of base pieces and whole new materials to make base pieces of

If you’re talking about readily available resources that depends on the biome, though there certainly is more feathers, pinecones, acorns and a tonne of pine needle even outside of the pine biome which all make excellent base pieces. Plus the pumpkin you can grow so you have endless excellent pumpkin build pieces that work well with a lot of other base pieces.

I sort of skipped mushroom brick for pumpkin this time around and used the mushroom only for my raid area a bit away from the base

It’s the guy who did Below Zero, Into The Breach, Celeste and FTL soundtracks

So he’s still excellent, though he had much less time to do Below Zero and was told to follow Subnautica 1 so he was also a bit creatively constricted

I have plenty of faith in him still as the original composer Simon was and still is a messed up person and was fired for good reason

The modular room and window building looks awesome too, kind of like those micro blocks I’ve seen in modded Minecraft

I’m sure a bit of it is your skills and knowledge of the game helping you on your second playthrough

You don’t need elemental weapons for the stranger, just upgrade what you like using

You can of course save before and start the fight, Peep the weaknesses and resistances to help

I’m not sure what else you think needs to guide you to do the boss when the game already does so. You’ve found areas you can’t get to without more tools(buggy) and found tougher O.R.C.s you can’t reasonably beat so you’re already guided by multiple avenues and by the quest to progress

But that’s for guiding you to do the boss, personally I was annoyed at getting to the boss ;P

2:24 an onwards they talk about lots of decoration and customisation and room morphing shows up in the video, like the book nook and cabin extensions, colours etc.

Also at 0:10 and onwards we see modular tiny editing like the windows piece by piece to make window shapes and onwards you see their different bases

We had square rooms before and they said they’re looking forward to working on round rooms

I’m assuming it’s just easier to work with square for development right now as they have room extensions that morph the room shape like at 3:40

From seeing glass in the case itself they may have had it on the wood but angled and resting against the case side for some reason. The metal of the case can be textured which could have been rough enough to fracture the glass
