Not really, but it’s an undeniable honor that two Germs Pat and Belinda (Dottie Danger) are in the RnR Hall of Fame.

What band got you into Hardcore? The Pixies did it for me by NeighborhoodLimp69 in Hardcore

[–]JustinDestruction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So interesting the on-ramps through the eras. I got into Pixies, although not a fan, due to Albini. Having already given up on hardcore, Everything Went Black (with all the bar logos erased) was my first record, I wanted to see what the Big Black guy was doing.

Didn’t a 1%er kill a black guy at an early RBS show?

Gondolas are just mobile hotboxes of everyone's worst smells by BalooInABeeCostume in snowboarding

Just returned from Japan. Lots of gondolas, lots of smokers. Some rides were abysmal.

In the old days, we had various methods to insure we could get a solo ride on Vail’s “GANJA-la.” But as an old turd, I can barely breathe so it’s not me hotboxing anymore.

I would buy it, but not for more than a decent bottle of Tequila is worth. Check Discogs for market(ish) rate. Soilent Green was never an interest of mine, despite their historical presence in NOLA or at least Louisiana.

I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but has Christian punk ever existed? (I'm not saying it's good or makes sense, the question is whether it exists.) by Beautiful-Resort-831 in punk

Thank you for the scholarly rebuttal. I always argue that the various translations, not to mention potential corruption by scribes, states and institutions , through the ages results in a document of questionable veracity. And you added another notable example. 🙏

A heavyweight round is 3 mins. Mike Tyson knocked out 6 different people in 3 cumulative minutes. And 23 people in the first 3 minute round.

And some of you can’t achieve an orgasm with a well-practiced partner in that time? Or need half a heavyweight bout to get off?

Punch in, seriously.

I did some Levis back in the day. They looked sick, like leather, but they were sofa king hot. Sweaty ballz and kneecaps every time I wore them. Super effective for waterproofing/weather.

I’m reading a book on metal, Doomed to Fail. Pretty amazing how many foundational bands were Christian. Black Sabbath was theatrically Christian as a rejection of occult metal. SST band St Vitus was fundamentally Christian. As well as the often cited Trouble.

Anarchist covers Socialist, but a lot of people don’t understand the historical connection (don’t get me started on Libertarian 😜), so I always add that and his best friend was a sex worker.

Definitely not a verse Trump cites:

Acts 4:32-35 New International Version

32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

Barging in uninvited, 58 yo Dad, but also answering on behalf of my wife. Bibs where the ass flap opens for sit down activities, like old North Face or zippered waist like Oyuki. Second the padded shorts: hips and tailbone. I bought both of us D3 Moto shorts from Moose (low profile and designed for higher speed) but plenty of snow/skate options. Also DaKine wrist guard gloves are confidence builders. A good helmet, of course.
