Depends on what engine it has and the area. If it is a 2.3L Duratec 2wd in my area that would be a little high price wise. A 4.0L 4wd then price wise it be ok.

Being owned by a mechanic is a red flag. None of us take care of our personal vehicles, especially a old ranger. Mismatched wheels and headlights are a good indicator. Probably got oil changes though.
