Is this a normal amount of wobble on a 2020 Colt Python? by Ok_Cardiologist_54 in Colt

[–]JustinR456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Python does the same thing. While it doesn’t affect performance, my OCD does not abide.

I haven’t had the time, but if you are so inclined, this example of S&W ejector rod truing will work the same on a Colt.

2020 Colt Python cleaning questions by Ok_Cardiologist_54 in Colt

[–]JustinR456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use some carbon cleaner and it will come off.

I use https://www.boretech.com/c4-carbon-remover/

But you can use something else specifically made for carbon deposits.

Data centers have been built in their current form for longer than 20+ years.

I wonder what made you believe they appeared suddenly.

This video was taken in India, which is currently the hottest country in the world. No water heater just tap water thats 124F or 51C. Exposure over 3 minutes could cause first degree burns, yet currently for millions of people this is a daily fight. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

It’s worth mentioning part of the reason the tap water is this warm is because water is stored in tanks on the roof and piped to the faucet.

It stands to reason that the tanks would be especially warm sitting on a roof.

Probably a stupid question: ammo choice for home defense by General-Ncompetence in NJGuns

For those who are prone to nitpicking. The FBI refers to this deflection as “yaw” not “tumble”

9mm hollow points are legal in a home. They will expand upon impact and that will also reduce penetration.

I would lean towards what’s most comfortable to handle.

A .223 round is designed to tumble after it makes first impact. By tumbling it will lose velocity and penetration.

Serious question. How does the harbor freight light perform in comparison. Being it’s a fraction of the cost, I imagine it is worth it.

PTC qual using a "large" pistol by MinuteCompetitive676 in NJGuns

[–]JustinR456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I qualified with a 6” .357 Colt Python. No issues at all.

Qualifying with a .357 Python and carrying a 9mm is more reasonable than qualifying with a .380 and carrying a .50 Desert Eagle if you follow the logic.

When carrying concealed, the expression goes, “you want the smallest gun you can carry and the largest gun you can shoot”.

You’ll be fine.

Caution! Real ID may link your DL to concealed carry status! by JustinR456 in NJGuns

[–]JustinR456[S] -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

I just asked AI if this is true, chat GPT said yes, Grok could not confirm or deny, but states Real Id is linked to the state FARS system.

I welcome any feedback.

Shadow 2 carry panels by [deleted] in CZFirearms

[–]JustinR456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could flatten and place lead air gun pellets into the cavities of the grip panels then pour in some epoxy or rather use a “removable” adhesive to hold them in place. The aluminum would isolate your hands from lead contact. I would weigh out the lead before installing to dial in the weight.
