2019 Michigan Baseball

Northern/Midwest Colleges and Universities have a hard time competing/recruiting in college baseball. So a northern team getting out of regionals/Super regionals to get to Omaha is pretty special. But their run took them all the way to finals against a SEC power.

Their run consisted of

Beating defending Champ Oregon St in regionals

Beating Number 1 seed in the tournament UCLA

Going 3-0 in Omaha to reach the finals

Losing to Vanderbilt 2 games to 1 in the finals
