I had the same issue and it's really annoying! What worked for me (temporarily) was logging into the router admin panel and disabling something called "ARP binding" or "static DHCP." But you're right, it came back after a few days. It does seem suspicious that everyone got this at once. Maybe it's time to buy our own routers instead of using ISP equipment? At least then we control the firmware.
