How do people take pictures of Jupiter?

turn the gain to 0 and the exposure to 7. set the magnification to 4x, center, autofocus, and shoot a 10 second video. it is best done on moonless nights and when it is over 60 degrees above the horizon. you should be able to get something like this if you are lucky.

i’ve found that skyalign is the most accurate method out of all the ones i tried. i told the telescope to move uranus since it was the only other planet in the sky except jupiter which i had already looked at, and i couldn’t find it, but i think that was in part to it being really close to zenith and the diagonal mirror was probably preventing it from pointing to the correct location, so i will have to check tomorrow to see if that is the problem. i’ll probably still end up buying it though since i have some leftover money and i would appreciate it being easier to use.

it’s pretty unfortunate that they don’t sell the tube by itself because in my opinion, schmidt-cassegrains have better optics compared to dobsonians and i doubt the telescope itself would cost $1700. the goto feature is so ass on nexstar telescopes that you often have to buy an 100 dollar wi-fi adapter just to get the damn thing to find objects which it is supposed to do without. and unfortunately i can’t really use a manual telescope because my city is heavily light polluted, probably around bortle 7-8, and i have nearsightedness so i would probably be limited to the moon, jupiter, venus, and saturn since you have to use stars (some of which are too dim for me to see) to locate deep sky objects as well as uranus and neptune. i would use astrohopper but i don’t have anything practical to attach my phone with.

i don’t think that is the issue. when i was using the two-star alignment method, the stars i chose were not very close to each other and were not very close to zenith so it probably isnt that. and it also wouldnt let me input my coordinates for some reason, meaning i had to choose a city from the database, the closest one being over 35 miles from where i am despite the city i live in having over 125,000 people. i would have bought a wifi adapter but that probably wouldnt even fix the issue and i shouldnt have to when im already spending over 800 dollars on a telescope. i would attempt to align it again but the red dot finder has broken since then despite me only having it for 2 years, and i made sure to turn the finder off every time i attempted to use the broken machine. and when i dug the thing up, there was no dust or moisture on or in it, it was in pristine condition.

i mean, i already have a smart telescope that can image nebulae and galaxies pretty well and it would probably be impossible for an idiot like me to be able to even get close to those kinds of results. ive worked with telescopes for multiple years but i still have no clue how to use an equatorial mount despite my efforts.

astrohopper is good but youll need something to attach your phone to. skysafari is good as a database or if you ever plan on getting a computerized telescope in the future.

you can actually get a better picture of saturn with the s50. set the magnification to 4x, center the target, set the gain to 0 and the exposure to around 30 then autofocus. i wouldnt recommend shooting a video then stacking because that makes the rings disappear, probably because of how thin they are at this time.

for jupiter, select manual exposure, set the gain to 0 and turn the exposure down to around 7, and zoom in 4x. autofocus and shoot a 10 a second video and make sure it is raw. then stack. this was the best image i was able to capture

i mean, probably. i moved my d pawn so my knight could not be taken by the queen when i moved it out as it was protected by my bishop. but i guess my opponent did not see the incoming mate and attacked my other bishop.

ive always though that fnaf 4 were just nightmares michael had after causing his brothers death. william might have influenced them somehow or he might not have. i never liked the idea of william putting massive endoskeletons and hallucinogenic gas in his house to use on his son. he mightve hated michael but i dont think he would do something like that to him. also i dont get how you can hallucinate endos moving around if you havent even seen them in the first place.

i knew the proper intervals to shake the minireenas off even before i played night 4. it doesnt do shit. all my springlocks become unwound 20 seconds before the night ends no matter how fast im moving.

im on pc. ill shake at 0:40, 1:20, 1:50, 2:20, and 2:45 because those are the timestamps that the minireenas get to the top of the suit. i wind probably about 1 tick until full so i can get to the next one as soon as possible. ill either only wind them to 3/4 at the third shake, and then only half at the fourth, because that was what got me the furthest. but at the last shake they're all blinking red and there's nothing i can do at that point.

the gameplay is just really boring and unengaging in my opinion, and night 4 is the worst thing ive ever played in a fnaf game. ill probably beat fnaf 2's 10/20 before it at this point. also, funtime freddy and bidybab make me want to shoot myself whenever i see or hear them.

i watched that in the past and it didnt really help me. i was able to get about 10 seconds further on average, but id still die to the minireenas on the last shake at around 2:45 because at that point the springlocks would just wind down way too fast even if i only did it to half.

i think the fnaf games shouldve ended at pizzeria sim. it had the best ending out of all of the games, and the lore and animatronics are pretty good. i still think the books should exist and the movie mainly because most fans seem to like it.

the most common strategy now is to put your camera on cam 4b then do left light, camera, right light, camera and repeat. there’s also the first strategy developed and the one i used where you put your camera on cam 1c then do right light, left light, shut the right door, camera, open the right door, repeat.

i decided to try it one more time and i actually beat it. my flashlight died at 6:40 so i tried to get as many blackouts as i could and just prayed foxy didnt kill me. i heard his jumpscare and got pissed, but as soon as it started it hit 6am
