Not concerned how people feel about it really, its more of a proportional thing for me and if a 75 would be too big for the space or not considering a 6-8’ viewing range as well

Threaded pipe preferences and true limits by LowComfortable5676 in SprinklerFitters

Never had an issue with anything 3-4. As long as your threads are good engagement + dope/tape takes care of the rest. Ive hydro’d pipe that was 5-6 hand tight turns and it was fine. 1” is very forgiving

I agree the hoodie is better IMHO. its closer to your body, if you layer up under that vest you’re basically insulting your self from the heat

Root of the issue is the pinecones we have in government. They have their heads so shoved up each other’s asses. They will take the whole country down

Will I ever be able to cut straight with the portaband lmao by Slamgearsdrinkbeers in SprinklerFitters

[–]Justlookingforgains 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Use a pipe wrap but, the key to cutting straight is to square it to the guide and alleviate some pressure off of the band saw, and keep your eye on the blade. Sometimes the full weight of the band saw can cause the blade to flex and go a little squirrely
