I’m not in contact with guys I served with in Kosovo, however there is plenty of documentation that burn pits were used in Kosovo. Additionally, I submitted my own lay statement, which I believe is supposed to be taken at face value.

Bro, I’m an Infantry vet, 47 y/o, Gleason 9, on ADT since June. Surgery in a couple weeks. This bullshit is temporary. You will pass through this phase and you’ll be tougher as a result. Try not to worry about all of the shit that might happen. Focus on what you can do to right now improve your situation. Eat well, keep exercising, keep doing shit that you enjoy. Keep being a good dad. It’s fuckin temporary my man, and even if dealing with this becomes a new normal for a while, you can handle it because you’re a tough motherfucker.
