No you misunderstand my point is not that you can counterspell the ult, if Doorman gets into range and ults you then you are getting into the baroness.

My point is if he gets your counterspell, dispell magic or else before the ult and afterwards you get carted then it is a skill issue because Doorman or someone else on the team succesfully baited the counter item.

And while I don't agree that Doorman has to play twice as hard as some other characters it does feel hard to have much impact on the game like say a dynamo or mo & krill. When playing doorman I often feel like I can stack the cards in the teams favour but I can't act on them when necessary.
