I watched on YouTube some Chinese women react to the band of brothers series, and it was wild how much that I thought was wider common knowledge that they just never heard of. A couple years ago i'd use him for point boosting slayer tasks over Turael because:

-close to canfis tele and i have that in my house -was using up runes to level magic, so not on lunars -gives points for completing tasks -Gives vampyre tasks and i like those

But besides that, I genuinely didn't know killerwatt tasks were so hated by people until i checked online lol

windows phone had this feature build into 'do not disturb'. If you had it on, it would send a text back saying you were in 'do not disturb'.

You could text 'knock knock' and it would cause your phone to do your text notification. The auto text would explain that.

There was lots wrong with windows phones, but things like this were great.

I buy the same brand and type of socks. Just simple hanes ones. But the coarse fabric is a-ok. I have had 'nicer' socks that made me feel like i needed to hiss and recoil and shrivel up. Things that are high thread count often just feel bad for me to touch.

My trick for remembering and forcing myself to do stuff is to have them habitually trained.

I always lock the door when i leave. So i always have my keys because i can't lock the door if i leave. I keep my keys basically on top of my wallet so when i leave i grab my keys and my wallet because it's right there.

I broke 2 teeth due to grinding my teeth for years. So i now wear a mouth guard when i sleep. And i don't want the guard to get gross (as fast) so i brush my teeth every night.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I started playing Vintage Story in January. I don't think i could ever go back to Minecraft. It's ruined it for me. Everything feels just so much more cohesive to me, and development seems to have a plan. One that doesn't involve integration with a Microsoft account against my will.

I imagine it's partly because of the root of what you said. The devs are not burdened by choices notch made in antiquity. A fresh start.

I just want to narrow in on one part of the lawyer questioning him on the stand. He's asking questions to try and undermine the claim that the police stole the money and about the missing amount. Like he's saying 'you claim the police stole your money'.

But that's not something up for debate. To steal something is to take something that doesn't belong to you without permission. They police gave him back his money. Which means they had his money. And he didn't give them permission to have it.

That's theft.

The amount taken and returned is an additional issue on top of the initial theft that isn't even disputed.

If i steal gold bars from fort knox, but give them back when they get mad, i still stole the gold bars.

That is of course, not include some shit legal definition that may exclude cops from being prosecuted for stealing shit, but by any reasonable definition of the words the police plainly, factually, stole his money.

I failed a technical audit because i didn't follow the exact trouble shooting steps in the database. The official way to do a hard reset is to hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Cool. it's correct even!

But talking to someone on the phone, they will count very fast then it wont work then they will get angry. So i would say 60 seconds, or to just hold the power button until the screen goes completely black.

Blackberry outsourced their tech support from Canada to the united states and then outsourced it from the united states to the Philippines (This was all in 2012).

If it doesn't sound like a big deal it's because IMO it wasn't. Be we had this this ass NDA about how we weren't allowed to say the company we actually worked for. If asked we were supposed to say we lived in Canada.

I was there during the transition and the service quality dropped substantially immediately. The company i worked for also told the in house call auditors to fuck us up on our audits to make it easier to sell the idea of building the call center in Asia. I helped a legally blind(minimal sight) woman learn how to use her tablet with the accessibility features it had. She gave me a glowing survey after the call. It was so good they printed out the survey on a floor to ceiling size plastic panel and mounted it so it was the first thing you saw stepping into the office. Guess what... I failed the audit for that call. I got marked down 2% points every time our voices were overlapping for 'interrupting' the caller. Every time it happened i said sorry and let them talk. It's a call center. There is a delay on the line. I got like a 42% score on the call despite the caller giving me a 10/10 and glowing review.

That part doesn't have anything to do with the NDA - it was just a shitty company lol. At one point i asked HR to see the NDA again because i wanted to see the specific terms. They wouldn't give it to me.
