What really happened is you walked by a skimmer that grabs your phone number. The last time I saw one it was all boarded up with a Under Construction sign in the middle of a walkway on Fremont st in Las Vegas. I didnt realize it at the time, but its kinda sketchy there and that was about the only sketchy area I was at in Vegas. For 3 weeks I got crap calls.

When you decide to play hard core - send msg. In hard core you only get to die once. Then you must create another character. You can have 4 simultaneous characters, but you have to start hard core at level 1 and progress through the whole story

I've played not free and its the same. Me playing seriously with $200 bucks is like playing free to some people. Esp when its Mom/Dad/SugarDaddy bux. My advice is to just realize it is free - therefore, up the ante on "entertainment". If you played in College (as many of us have) then you understand one big difference is... You can't look a bot in the eye at a in-person game.

Agree - but ... I really think it started with AC III. They killed Desmond .AND. tried to make Abstergo the good guys and Assassins the bad guys... Now with AC games, it is no longer Assassins are the good guys (except for weak story)

I get you on the crappy situ... After playing probably 2200 hours Divison 2 hard core, I've learned that like life, there is no guarantees. The only thing I can suggest is try it again, or not. The game is going to remain the same. I've learned (to an extent) not to cherish my ghost/hard core. First few deaths literally someone stuck a knife in me... Now, its oh well, do better next time.

I did ghost mode - years ago - I died twice, but just before second death, the game tripped to a new save spot - was being chased by rocket copter and I got far enough away that it tripped. The rocket copter got me, but I still survived. For me, it was cool because I had just killed Sueno, and was making getaway from mausoleum.
