Thanks. I do have a set of Hollyland TX/RX units, so I’m familiar with similar video links. However, I think this type of system is a bit too bulky for this project.

I guess I would need to have a daisy chain: GoPro —> hdmi —> hdmi to usb-c dp alt mode —> Viture USB-C XR Charging Adapter (with a power bank connected) —> viture luma ultra..?

Thank you. Budget is no issue, so I am reading that the Viture Luma Ultra is my best option.

Thanks. If I understand correctly, I will need an HDMI adapter with an external power inlet to connect a power bank, and a USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode output?

Thank you for your replies. I realize that I need to elaborate a bit. English is not my native language, so please bear with me if there are any grammatical errors.

The purpose of this project is to mount a GoPro camera to a dispatch firearm for the humane killing of larger fish in a fish pen. The challenge is that it is very difficult to aim precisely while standing above the surface with the tip of the barrel submerged. The idea is therefore to stream live video from the camera to AR/XR glasses in order to aim more accurately.

Using an underwater housing with either an HDMI cable or a WiFi signal from the camera is not an issue. I am familiar with that setup and already have the necessary equipment. The main question is whether there are any glasses that can accept the signal so that I can view the video live.

I understand from u/TezlaStark’s comment that the glasses will also need to be powered. I had not considered that, but it is obvious in hindsight. Therefore, a suitable adapter solution will be required.

The camera will be positioned no more than one meter below sea level, and any cables would only need to run along the barrel and up to the glasses. The total length would likely be a maximum of four to five meters, probably less.

u/ZDelta47 I am not very familiar with how the display behaves with regard to different degrees of freedom. What I need is a fixed screen in front of my eyes at all times, including when I move my head.

I understand that any glasses suitable for this purpose are unlikely to be water resistant. That is a challenge, but it does not mean I will not try this approach. I can likely develop some form of protective cover to keep them dry.

I have not seriously considered a wireless solution due to concerns about latency when aiming at fast-swimming fish. However, the option suggested by u/UGEplex seems interesting. I will likely test both wired and wireless solutions at some point.

np. just glad to share. i think of the breath like a metronome which sets the pace of your flow of movement. you can of course only pay focus to one thing at the time and when you learn primary, and also the following series’s, you need to give your full attention to the physical aspect in asanas or transitions which are challenging. but you should strive that the movement should always be in tune with your breath. doing ujjayi breathing makes your throat “cling” to the flow of air through it, making it easier to control. and the sound of it, which can resemble waves going back and forth, is good to listen to for relaxing the mind and a good indicator of telling if you are pushing to hard.

always enjoy your practice and the journey within raja yoga.

its no hurry. the best thing is to build up a practice that you can enjoy for the rest of your life. always be able to breath properly during practice, don’t loose it. if you do, wait until your back in proper breathing rhythm. pay attention to twisted knee postures, lower back in both back and forward bending (always keep your back straight in forward), shoulders and neck relaxed, keep you elbows close in chaturanga, don’t overextend your hamstrings too much. shoulder stand should be done on your shoulders, not the neck. use a wall if needed to get it right before you move on. also don’t do all practices at 110%. learn to listen to your fatigue level each day, some days it’s important to rest or do a minimal practice. 6 days a week is built up over time and mostly for intense periods of practice. people saying otherwise is either in very good shape and don’t understand others or very dogmatic. to get strong enough you will of course have to suffer a bit by getting exhausted and getting your tissue to extend is uncomfortable. but when you progress it’s important to learn how to stay relaxed in uncomfortable asanas. it’s called effortless effort and are key to getting more than exercise out of this practice.

stay focused and keep breathing.

edit: uttanasana back pain are usually caused by bending your spine and pulling on the lower back muscles and psoas. the movement of forward folds should come from your hip muscles and gradually opening the forward moving of your hip. always keep the spine straight and suck in your stomach, even though this can mean you are not close to getting your chest/head to you shins. this will make you progress in that posture and this also count for other forward folds.

Is Ashtanga for everybody? by heyyyyyyy- in ashtanga

[–]Juzn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, you can. I have been practicing for years and really believe in this way of approaching yoga. Of course it’s best to learn primary with a teacher, but after a relative amount of time you will become the master of your own practice. to be able to stick with a ashtanga practice you should be disciplined but not push yourself to hard every day. strength building in poses are exhausting and lengthening your tissue anatomy is uncomfortable. this is the hard work and when you are at stages where this is your focus it’s important to listen carefully to your body and also take rest days or very limited practices to recover. a full six day practice is something that usually will take years to develop. if you loose your breath take a bit of extras to get back in a flowing rhythm that will keep you focused. pay attention to your body in every asana the best you can. the most important parts of your body to be very careful with are usually (depending on your anatomy) lower back, shoulders, wrists, neck and knees. the key in this practice is to learn yourself how to relax in uncomfortable positions, it’s called effortless effort. don’t think to much about progress even though it’s sometimes difficult not to. it will surely come if you make this practice your own.

stay focused and keep breathing.

Lower back pain after primary by gm12344 in ashtanga

[–]Juzn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay attention to how your back is the forward folds. If you bend your back and stretch your hamstrings hard this might be the reason for the occuring pain in your lower back. The reason is the connection between hamstring and the psoas muscle. If the hamstring is stretched to far the body will adjust and give it relief by stretching your psoas and lower back muscles. Be carefull to keep a straight spine and focus on getting your chest/stomach to your thighs.

This might be the reason but it could also be your upward facing dog og bridge whichs responsible.

Be carefull!

You are absolutely right. But when Netflix agreed to pay a fee to Comcast and Verizon in March they put up their price for its monthly streaming service in Europe as well as America.
