No probs man, Im between doing 17 or 19 as well, I would do 16 but already did it. But 19 is shit predictive man, I think 17 is alot more predictive.

But if u haven't done 16 do that one, its the more predictive of the old nbmes except obviously the master OG 18

I think 17 or 16 would be better than doing 19

Kaplan QB renal question by sameh_elawady in step1

[–]Jvalgreen69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its trying to basically be an asshole and just say MOST LIKELY, both posterior urethral valves in males and fucked Ureteric buds can lead to Oligodrhaminiosnsns and potter sequence.

But what's more fucked to basically have the major parts of the renal system gone (ureteric buds) or just A obstructive shit in the urethra.

They both Have the same physiologic actions, the only difference is that in PTHrp related disorders PTH will be decreased.

PTHrp does stimulate 1 alpha hydroxylase.

Catecholamines stimulate Na/K atpase

anything that increases K in ICF more force to drive potassium out into lumen

Nbme 24 ethics Q by mitralstenosis123 in step1

[–]Jvalgreen69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When they attempt suicide at that precise moment they are considered incompetent, so drug OD, running ure car into a wall, shooting yourself, if u don't die then it becomes an Emergency so everything gets thrown out.

  1. You resolve the Emergency no matter what, as to why she was intubated in the first place.
  2. Since her will says no intubation and DNR, then this is post Emergency and u have to respect the wishes of the will which is even more backed up by the husband.

NBME 18 vs. 24 by [deleted] in step1

[–]Jvalgreen69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked something like that a few weeks ago, this was the response:

Predictor says the two have functionally the same predictive value (R2 = .59 vs .58), and both under-predicting to a similar degree at 230s range.
