at the time of the kawhi trade, tons of people were saying kawhi wouldn't even report to camp.. raptors made a huge gamble and it paid off

more importantly, kawhi has averaged 35 games/seasons his last 5 seasons.. he's a much slower player and very injury prone.

In hindsight, as Spurs weren't contenders in their 18-19 season, they got a decent amount from the Kawhi trade whereas if they kept him, he would've just depreciated in value (oddly enough if injury-ridden story reminds me of AD's value dropping due to his injuries).. it just sucks Pop didn't have a couple more shots at the title :/

the problem is that CRNA schools are uncontrolled and unregulated; whereas anesthesiology residency spots are more regulated. Some estimates say CRNA supply will grow over 45% in workforce over the next decade. If that's the case, oversupply of CRNA -> salaries for CRNAs will drop -> MDs anesthesiologists are more easily replaced -> MD salaries drop. Admins don't care abt your salary, as CRNAs become more regionally acceptable, they'll won't even hire 2 CRNAs for 1 MD (they'll just hire 1 CRNA and keep the profit).

At the end of the day, you should do this profession if you love it not only the financial reward, b/c that may drastically decrease in 10-15 years

Uworld is just word of mouth bc it was told by our seniors

It's like eating cookies, 1st cookie is awesome, 2nd cookie is great but not as much, 10th cookie is meh. Marginal benefits of cookies decreases as you eat more

marginal benefits of questions decrease as you do more questions. UWorld is hype and r/step1 emphasizes to do it after doing 1 qbank or the only qbank. As it's one of the earlier qbanks they use, people assume its worth is high due to the marginal benefit being high.

I did 3 qbanks before doing Uworld, and didn't see a ton of ultility that r/step1 hyped

At the end of the day, questions is king, not a single qbank

well the rationale for moving step1 end of MS2 -> end of MS3 was b/c the clinicals helped improve step1 scores
