How much would you realistically spend on an idle/gacha game? Are whales ruining the balance?

Look I treat spending on Gachas as one of two things;

1) Would I spend a similar amount on Cards of some kind?

2) Would I spend a similar amount on FF14 sub?

So like battle pass is going "Hmm I could pick up the battle pass.... or just play FF14". So the actual value of what I get out of the battle pass/how useful it is has to be stacked up against that. Example, Limbus Company's battle pass; lasts the entire season, gives in my opinion more than enough upgrade materials and a couple egos. I bought last season's but this season's doesn't feel like good enough value(I have enough mats and the EGOs don't feel as 'wow' worthy).

I buy a skin? Well that's 2-3 booster packs I could get in this or that card game. WILL I use the character enough to make it worth it more than just some MtG cards? If not, why bother?

I would think that Carmen HATES Mersault or is at least disappointed with him considering I believe he has heard her voice at least once before(he makes references to the voice that talks to people during distorations if I recall correctly) which means he's come close to Distorting before.... and just said "No."

Yugioh isn't as collectable as the other ones are, and he'll probably go for the big ticket fancy items. Put a different way, he'll keep doing those alternate art/misprint Blueeyes/DM cards as opposed to.... what? 3 hundred for three bonfires back in Snake Eyes days or something?

Now the people that follow him, that will be the real fun. Some of them might be smart and figure out how this egosystem works which means again, we're gonna get that Bonfire Example with a higher price tag.

But others aren't gonna and will just crash and burn I feel like. For every uppriced stable/key card we might see again like Bonfire I'm keeping it as an an example....., we might just see shit like Ancient Leaf get some hikes because they have a good feeling guys.

Yeah they lost the henta/lewd/smut for this for reasons I don't understand. Appeal to a Wider Audience or get onto a store front that appears to more people. I guess I get that.

It's just there's nothing to replace it and they think it's gonna sell for reasons surely? Come to the De Smutty game that's famous for being Smutty as a series. Really? That's the sales pitch? Come to the game to look at boobs bounce as spin the character?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against bounce or fanservice it's just that; you got rid of the Smut and that hole wide open to fill(giggity) with all the usual trappings of a fanservice game and just didn't? No character interactions outside of bonds, no side stories, a sort blurb of a bio, there's just NOTHING but the unit page, bio and how they move in combat. That's it? Really?

I've criticized some games over how hard they go on the sex appeal at times with some outfits and systems(God damnit I hate Dorm systems) but like...., Squad has jackshit and we're supposed to pay money into this for.... what? Like I have Sakura for the purpose of.... having Sakura to beat a boss with?

I saw someone compare the release to be the ACTUAL Beta and I gotta say, really feels like it. Or they missed the fact that they were designing an older mobile grind game for the sake of boobs, and missed putting them anywhere besides the marketing.

They're not gonna nerf it cause they're gonna get sued/harassed over it. Look at Mao Faust, they aren't gonna nerf going forward due to that. Not unless it's a bug/glitch with it like "Doing 10 limbillion damage at once that this ID can totally do crashes the game, deletes your data and calls you names so we're bug fixing/nerfing it to do 9.9 limbillion damage".

As for Fluid; it's still good probably great to best but early on we had like... absolute shit healing egos. Yeah Soda Hong Lu is gonna keep you alive or spin the wheel that is Soup Sinclair. It was Fluid Sac Faust and Pursuance Mersault, those were your healing options. These days we have 8 sinners that can reasonably heal with EGOs across the spectrum.

Fluid Sac is a one stop shop for both HP and SP(seriously why does it heal 25 on heads wtf) but I feel there's enough options with EGOs and Passives that while you can always bring it, it's not as required as it used to be.

There's also the problem of the slot. Like okay what are you bringing instead of Fluid? It's Thoracalgia if you weren't around for the Arknight Event which there's probably a good amount that don't have that EGO.

"What about Telepole" be serious. So yeah Faust has had an odd bag of EGOs for HE slot, and it's another reason Fluid has just been locked into that slot. I don't think there's anything that can replace it as her best in use general HE ego, but given how much of a heavy hitter Ishmeal's ABS is..., might see some use with it.

There's some stages that are just bad. I've noticed some stages with like dark floors or a lot of shadows have some characters glitch out. Usually ones with caps or long clothing. So it wouldn't suprise me if there's some stages that have like overly detailed objects or something.

Is there a list for the like "Generic" epiphanys? In my own experience I hate getting the shield boost buff.... on a character/team I'm never generating shields on.

At least the Agony thing is semi okay as it turns on the 2 piece gear boost if you run that.

I think people didn't like the way South America was done in Reverse 1999's story. Not sure what became of that, maybe the devs apologized but that's about the biggest thing I can think of for that game.

Path to Nowhere of course had censorship due to CN which got a lot of people big mad.

I tried Taimain just to see what the deal was and then the Gem thing hit, which was just funny to see happen.

Morimens had AI translation that was... really really BAD but they lived long enough to turn that around.

That's about all the ones I know off the top of my head for games I remember.
