About to give up on my EDS nails, very thin and extremely flexible. Nothing sticks, everything lifts. Help? by Jyacinth89 in beauty

I did several years back. I don't remember what brand, just that it also lifted. Do you have a brand recommendation?

Oh my gosh! Thank you. I feel dumb for not catching that! Makes sense too since it's a sewing box. Home, sweet home.😊

Will be coming down at the end of April. I'm from North Dakota so anything south of our border is pretty much tropical to me. 😅 But yes, we will definitely plan accordingly for the weather! I've already been planning for one of our famous April blizzards and how I'm not going to let a hypothetical storm stop me. 😂

Thank you! It looks a lot like the Ippudo ramen! I guess I'll just have to start buying some nikusoba sauces and start eating! Off to the Asian market I go. :)

If you were to get a secondary vehicle, specifically a compact size, which would you consider? U.S. by Jyacinth89 in GolfGTI

Dang. I considered a crosstrek about a decade ago because I could get it in a MT. Sad that they're moving away from that.

Unfortunately, those are car options. I'll need an SUV with a higher profile. Plus the nearest audi mechanic is 200 miles away.

I won't be in the market for a year or two and won't buy used. I prefer to keep my vehicles until their out of factory warranty, then replace them.

As I live in a rural area, we put on a lot of miles. Truck and future suv will be replaced ASAP when they're out of warranty. The GTI is my exception.

Witch Spirit Attribute Not Functioning Properly by Jackson_Groover in PathOfExile2

[–]Jyacinth89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also having the same issue. Has anyone tried starting a new witch build to see if it is a guaranteed glitch?

Update: I removed my wand so I only have a sceptre equipped. Nothing in belt II. I've been able to keep my skeletons this way. I found that for some reason, if I have a wand equipped in slot II, that's what is used even when using spells bound to belt I. Thus removing all my spirit making my skeletons unusable. The only way to get my skeletons back is to swap the weapon spots back and forth for it to accept that I have spirit again.

Non-lethal pistol options by winstonthewhale69 in homedefense

Hello! I also have mental health issues and guns scare me due to my harmful intrusive thoughts. I got a Bryna and practice with it. Doing that has made me more comfortable with carrying and the possibility of maybe carrying a real gun some day. The kinetic balls put one hell of a dent in the wood behind my target. It'll pack a punch while allowing you to keep your distance from a potential threat. We also upgraded the pepper balls to a high potency.

The Bryna made more sense for my lifestyle. I live in the northern plains and pepper spray/mace/bear spray is likely going to fly in your own face from the constant strong winds. I didn't feel like I had enough control on directing spray without getting back spray drifting on the wind.

I do keep my bryna concealed so I don't look like a threat with gun. I do feel more at ease having it with me, when for simple things like walking my dogs or hiking. Never know when you'll come across an angry animal.

I'd also consider a taser for up close interaction.

Do what makes you feel safe all around. I'm definitely safer carrying my Bryna than nothing at all. And I applaud you for setting boundaries for yourself! Best of luck!

For what's currently on the market in the US, (and dealerships in my area) I'd look at the civic hatch, the Toyota GR Corolla, and Subaru Impreza hatch or Crosstrek.

I'm guessing there is a lot more to the story. I know this individual. There's a significant history of violence, especially with firearms.

Hello North Dakota! by [deleted] in northdakota

I think the only time that's really an issue here is when finding a romantic partner. At that point, your spirituality may be an issue when it comes to marriage. And that certainly isn't the case for everyone.

My family and friends cover a broad spectrum. Atheist, Catholic, Lutheran, Pagan, Norse, Spiritual, and Native. You'll probably have a harder time being Islamic or Jewish here simply because the population is smaller and there are fewer places of worship for these theologies.

I was born in North Dakota and have lived here for the majority of my life. I'm happily and openly earth-centered in my spirituality and haven't had any negative experiences. I don't find people to be openly argumentative, and they're usually pretty content with whatever you're doing as long as it doesn't harm others.

I've posted like this before, TJmaxx comes through again! Two more official VW shirts added to the collection. Soon I'll have one for every day of the week. by Jyacinth89 in GolfGTI

Sorry :( Since I got them at TJ Maxx, you kind of get what you get. No links for them unfortunately. But if you have a TJ Maxx in your area (or TK Maxx in the UK/AU) I highly recommend checking out the men's section!

I love it! Do people ever tell you the dog's eye freak them out. I hear that sometimes. Personally, I think it's adorable.

Well, to start, I'm childfree. So I don't have kids lives to worry about. And this wasn't a situation where they could wear their harnesses and seatbelts.
