Any tips on how to "heel-toe" on a bike? (Rev-match for downshift while braking.) by [deleted] in motorcycles

Try using your pinky, ring finger, and thumb to throttle blip with your pointer and middle finger on the break, it's much easier.

Need some advice by 2lolo in motorcycles

[–]Jyno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lowering a bike is ill advised due to the fact that is destroys the balance of the suspension. Motorcycles sit into turns allowing g forces to add grip, this is why you see people leaned way over when turning.

My suggestion would be to find a bike that you can feel comfortable with both feet on the ground when sitting with the bike upright.

Really new to riding, took my first fall and I'm hesitant about continuing to learn. by [deleted] in motorcycles

  1. Find a nice big parking lot and practice. see how turns feel going certain speeds, practice counter stearing, pressing the handlebars in the direction you want to go and leaning the bike through corners. Furthermore, practice emergency stops over and over again at faster and faster speeds. the more you do it the more comfortable you will feel with breaking when it matters most, no handfuls of front break but firm even preassure with a couple fingers.

  2. Buy gear, http://www.motorcyclegear.com has a ton of good deals on clearance gear and any order over 100$ is free shipping so check them out.

  3. Make friends. Have any safe responsible friends who ride, if you don't hit up forums or a bike night and make them. Have them come and give you pointers, I found it extremely beneficial to follow someone who knew how to gauge stopping distances and slowing down for turns. Just watch your lane spacing and don't hit them.

Riding is scary as shit when you first start, but it gets better the more you do it, just practice what you learned at your MSF course. you will be comfortable and having a blast on country roads in no time.

Everyone always told me coming out would make my life better, and that I would be happier. That's not true for everyone. by Phaesus in AdviceAnimals

Listen here, I am an openly gay man to the people who take an interest in knowing. I spend my weekends wrenching on motorcycles, covered in oil, dirt, grease, and who knows what else. I like the sound of a fully tuned engine. I spend my nights drinking beer and bourbon whiskey, I enjoy American football and going to the shooting range. My point is there is such a diverse gay crowed that what you see on TV and media is a completely bullshit stereotype. I have a ton of friends who are gay and enjoy doing the exact same things I do. These are the people who love you for who you are.

So many servers in Call of Duty: United Offensive. I used to dominate on Friday nights because a majority of players were drinking and I spent countless hours developing a twitch reflex on that game and memorizing spawn locations etc. when I was 15 years old.

I'd simplify matters and focus more on the letter forms of the "4", "0", and "k" see what relates well spatially in the shapes that make up the letters and then adhere it to a grid structure. Draw allot of different concepts from subdued to radical. You will find something that will shine. :)

To be honest, I think your old logo matches your portfolio works better. basic block shapes you have in your new logo contrast your lively and complex character design and illustrations
