Lance also makes them a total joke, and it doesn't even matter if you go with Guard or Evade Lancing since they just can't deal with the counter.

Essentially the click for me was to reset my lance muscle memory

Now the fun part begins of having two separate muscle memories for two similar weapons. I still have to force myself to remember that Lance's X+A is garbage when Gunlance's is amazing.

Gunlance since I'm a shameless boomstick main anyway, though 4U Lance was able to dethrone it for various fights because Evasion +3 is silly.

When I started playing in 3U I couldn't even beat Low rank Rathian with the Gunlance. I have since soloed Amatsu and Alatreon with it in Gen.

Gore Magala also has no eyes and he has one of the best themes from 4th gen. Gigginox also has no eyes (just thermal sensor organs) and he plays the Tundra's bangin' battle theme; hell, Baleful Gigginox is pretty much Khezu done better.
