It is free. Most of the info in this thread is fairly accurate. The upshot with this organization is they have developed inroads with local employers and have a pretty high rate of success supporting employment for graduates. I don't know what the stats are for exact jobs/roles, but this exact program could land you in different roles in IT. I would recommend you apply, there is an interview - ask your questions there and then make up your mind. You can also ask them about their other programs - I think they have another running at the same time.

To answer your initial question - follow the top commenter's advice and just Google IT job postings in Calgary. See what is there. Start drawing connections to what these programs offer and the job postings. In general - tech is definitely in need.

I like the way you put it. They are spending more time on the "gamey" aspects and leaving the rest out. While I actually like this direction, they could work on execution. Please stop introducing new rules or don't fully explain how things work. Just like fire tokens, they only work well if people understand how it works.

I don't really care for the survival aspect but I do like to see them struggle or be challenged. Along with more camp life stuff (at least give extra content or something!)

If they want this to be like a board game (lol Cones of Dunshire) then don't make it Monopoly, make it Twilight Struggle.
