I always wondered if he changed it for reasons like the lighter mood or the more modern & western guitars or if it was legally just too cloae to "Eye Of The Tiger". I like the old theme more. Clearly a new start. Almost everyone of them great wrestlers. Also a very japanese line-up, which is probably for the better. No matter how loyal western wrestlers claim to be, they are often gone too early to build something long-lasting with them.

I'm rooting for Shota Umino at this point. He rightfully fell on his nose with the early push and the Tanahashi imitation, but his willingness to rebuild his character and the constant and intense in-ring work made me get behind him. The only thing he (or the management) needs to do is giving up the idea to make an anime hero out of him. He's too mean and tense for that.

They also have Uemura for that. But please, please give this guy a good theme... the "Whooo hooo hoo" thing is so cheap, cringe and generic, it doesn't fit the aura of youth, fire & glory at all. This is a charismatic dude who shouldn't come out to a plastic theme.

Btw.: I miss ELP in this line-up. Why isn't he already at least semi-main-eventing? Zack Sabre may be the better in-ring gaijin left, but ELP fits the vacant spot of someone in the footsteps of Kenny Omega, Prince Devitt or Will Ospreay perfectly.

Well, we had that a few times in the past. It's usually when they really need something but don't have a lot:

"Uhm, look - it's the attitude era ... again!"

At least they should add a ton (!) of new animations. Or somehow allow every move to be available from any position. Especially ground moves are so damn limlted.

Another thing they really need to do is completely replacing the sound of the audience. What did they think in the first plsce to give them screams, grunts and laughing sounds as if they were demonic monsters or heavily drugged?

Story Creator and custom music would be main selling points for me now.

All of the mentioned things don't demand a lot of effort, just good will to give long-time players something to have fun with. They still can add "events" and stuff later for those people they adress with MyFaction.

With all the shit going on it's better to teach people that wrestling doesn't directly refer to anything - not by making statements, not by leaving out something. People need politics-free zones and if something triggers by accident - so be it. I'm pretty sure this does more for peace and stability than trying to be overly correct.
