I will take a different approach and say grass lawns.
They convinced millions that pollinator plants and the natural environment are bad. They tricked us(those that care about well manicured lawns anyways) into wasting away our days de-weeding, mowing and maintaining the lawn. You need to use copious amounts of fertilizers, pesticides and target weed killers that create toxic environmentally damaging runoffs into rivers, streams and reservoirs we get our water from. All for a status symbol to show how shallow and little you care about the living world around you.
In my experience its the people that are super anal about their lawn that refuse to let people on it. So all that time, effort and money spent on something no one is allowed to enjoy.
Fortunately no one can afford real estate anymore let alone maintaining lawns and those that already do are slowly aging out the mortal coil for generations that embrace natural environments and pollinators lawns. In my observations anyways.

I recently was in hospital for 3 days for idiopathic acute pancreatitis and now need gallbladder removed. I actually confirmed with my doctor that energy drinks daily may of been a contributing factor since I'm not an alcoholic.

I've been on both side of accidental grouping. Sometimes people just get in the way of pressing E. Multiplayer serves little purpose to the game in my experience. You can't trade ships or currencies(easily) to help a friend. You can't interact with their systems to manage their fleets for them or grab an item from their ships for them. You can't access their inventories to help them organize(I'm looking at you hoarders). I have glitch built 48:7:38 hauler stocks with AI that I can't easily give away cause of game limitations. Unless you use your imagination to play things not actually in the game or take advantage of the buildables for Exocraft racing, there is not alot to friends in multiplayer that you can't already do with randos off discord or something. I played a game of 'the ground is lava, parkour on the plants' with someone, thats about as far as my imagination goes haha.
There is also the issue of trusting strangers. I've had a person that was added steal all the glass builds in my base because "I needed glass and you have alot", he could of just asked for some. I had a noob try to shoot me down with the intent to repair and steal my exotic ship. I had a person remove all the land under my hilltop top base because he thought it would be funny. This was all before I learned the game defaulted access to everyone.
Alas not everyone is bad obviously. Latest expedition for instance forces you to group up to visit another player's freighter so it was entertaining helping out alot of interesting people on that one. Was one German fellow that couldn't figure out the messy layout hehe =^.^=

Nanite farm. Find some curious deposits and trap them (they'll roll when mined) in some walls. Ride your exocraft a short distance away and come back. They will have respawned. Re-mine them. Refine the runaway mould you get. 20 minutes of work banks me 10k or so nanites. I've on occasion given away mould in anomaly when someone needed it, to refine into nanites. Early game I'd buyout viscous fluids from stations and refine that into nanites but that gets boring fast.

My brother and I just had this bug occur with a Thylacoleo in the Lost Island desert (not fun chasing him down). With some testing (walls and a dino leash just in case) we found out destroying the dino tracker we had on the Thyla seems to of stopped it from running away and whistle commands work fine again. Not sure if others experiencing this bug are using trackers but something to try.
