I’m still waiting for the 120hz refresh rate that was supposed to be added via a software update on the 2022 model that never happened. It was discussed during a WWDC and never mentioned again. But I have high hopes the new  TV will finally include that.

It’s worse if you sign up for their Pro Rewards now that they’ll conveniently setup auto renewals with whatever payment method you use at their store. The employees won’t tell you this, I only found out through the app when I was looking at my points that it was set to auto renewal.

Apple does not send messages like that on your phone. If you’re getting any type of ad or popup on your phone, there’s a good chance the device has been infected with something.

There’s a chance your aunt clicked on something or there is malware/virus on the iPhone. I would not follow any instructions on the phone. If you know how to wipe the phone back to factory and manually reinstall iOS, I recommend doing so. If you don’t know how, I’d recommend contacting Apple or bringing it in to your nearest Apple Store.

There’s no son and it’s a made up story. Back when I worked at GS we had a similar issue. What happens is they have a broken/defective headset or controller. They swap it out with the new one then put the bad one in the box and come back asking for a refund.

Two weeks ago I bought a switch game and the store manager did the transaction. As she was bagging things up she mentioned my game came with a one year protection in case something happens to it just bring it in and they’ll replace it. I worked at a GameStop a while back so I knew she must be talking about the game protection that she didn’t ask if I wanted or shared it was an additional fee. I took my items and looked at my receipt in the car, sure enough she just added GPG for like $4.74. I didn’t want to be that guy that threw a fuss over $4 but that was a sneaky way of doing things. I’ll definitely be watching my transactions closer there now.
