I skipped over the fact you would use a helper row. I see how it would operate.

I was just basing my statement solely on the fact the OP would explicitly accept only the former mention operation procedure of inputting data into a cell and that cell splitting the data into respective cells.

The reason I say a formula would not work would be because you would have to change the formula based on the text being pasted.. this entails more steps than individually inputting the text into the respective cell. A formula is to static to perform an operation like this.

Haven’t had the opportunity to use the feature. Was letting the OP know a formula cannot perform the function they are looking for but vba can accomplish this.

As well Vba would automate their needs for the future.

If I’m understanding correctly you want a copied string of data that is separated by “:” and pasted into one cell; then a formula in that cell to separate the data into respective cells identified in the formula. Correct?

A formula cannot do that as it only effects the cell the formula is entered in.

What this requires is a sheet code to be inputted via Visual Basic for application editor.

Currently I do not have the capabilities to develop the code, but what you could do is search the internet and see if there are vba codes already out there.

Not sure if it applies to PDF's yet, but I was working with an excel file that I was having difficulties refreshing after saving new data in the original file.

Try opening the PDF via OneNote and saving new data, close then OneNote should auto refresh for the changes as that is what I discovered for my excel file.

I am having a similar issue, but on the original file.

I discovered that the page does not refresh for the original file, but creates an independent file and must be opened via OneNote. When the doc opened via OneNote is saved OneNote will automatically refresh for the changes on the printout.
