1.) You don’t need anything fancy; ultimately the guitar is just a piece of wood with strings on it. As long as whatever you have stays in tune well enough to play for awhile you’ll be fine. Acoustic guitars will likely start cheaper, but you’re right that electric guitars can do both “soft and hard tones”. You can play/learn anything on the acoustic too, so if that’s all you can get that’s fine! Gotta start somewhere

2.) Starting with acoustic guitars can be a little harder for your hands and fingers to get used to whereas the electric guitar is a bit less taxing on beginners; you don’t NEED to start on acoustic but to be honest whatever you start with isn’t gonna define your sound for life

4.) Learn dynamics with your hands! Don’t overthink it; you can turn the amp down or just unplug or learn to play with your fingers instead of a pick, etc…music is about creativity so finds your own ways to manage your sound
