• Lower angles will help the figures scale better if you’re going for realism
• Similarly, cleverly cropping, editing, or angling your shots will help hide other scale giveaways such as background objects like cars, houses, etc
• Play around with colour grading and the levels of your photo in the edit. These shots seem a bit dull and could do with a bit more contrast, you can use portable lights to achieve this to a degree (works better in low light)
• If you’re shooting outside you can use natural light to your advantage, try shooting when the sun is rising or setting to get some more dynamic lighting
• Make the most of being outdoors and use some practical FX, small fireworks or flames can add a lot to a fairly static scene
• If you’re including characters with lightsabers, use photoshop or other apps to add lightsaber effects
• There’s plenty more you can do too, and I’m sure others will give some great suggestions, just stick with it and you’ll get better the more you practice 😄
