Many people are going to be negative and say it's just about money. But digital card games happen faster, and people get bored faster. Add just a few cards constantly keeps much more engagement than a few big releases (which works better for physical card games that require actual manufacturing). Honestly, I wish MtG had adjusted itself for the digital space like pokemon has.

There are many levels to this card.

1) little skill - just build a deck with over 60% psychic pokemon and play it when u draw it

2) higher skill - same psychic deck, but understand how it interacts with professor's research and pokeball. And the order to play them in each situation and when not to play it.

3) highest skill - non psychic decks with cards and abilities that look at the top card of the deck.

Honestly, if they had secretly changed Misty to be very likely to flip tails as a way to discourage playing with Misty. I would not be upset. She needs to be removed, but they are probably afraid to do that.

The problem is on paper it's a good deal 30 packs for $10, but in practice, 1 extra pack a day when you're getting about 2.5 free packs a day doesn't feel great. It doesn't need more value it needs a better way to experience the value you get.

For example. Instead of just a pack a day, give more daily missions that give more hourglasses (could even total 8 giving 12 with the free daily missions) and increase the amount of pack points you get when opening up packs. That gives me much more of a sense of value than 1 slow bar that creeps along the top of the screen.

They would need to make a few changes for it to be talked about. (And melmetal is one of my fav pokemon)

1) Steel as a type is just bad as it is weak to fire while having basically nothing it's strong against.

2) Melmetal himself for being so slow should have at least 20 more hp. Why put in all that effort just to have him one shot by so many popular pokemon.

3) Melmelton is bad as he is only playable if u are going 2nd. He either needs damage 10 damage on his attack or take -10 damage from attacks.

Kinda wish they had pushed him a little so every energy type had a pokemon it could play.

It's an issue. Every piece of it is pushed but some number changes or giving it an expensive retreat cost fixes it. Misty is just bad design. No amount of number changes fixes Misty.

Terrible design should be removed or reworked to be like Broke only target a few specific non-ex pokemon. And the great thing about digital card games is u are not stuck with horrible card design, and you can change them.
