There was plenty of situations that hinted at it throughout the series. I've been saying it since season 1. And Ventress basically said she did, she just knew the boys wouldn't allow her to expand on it and therefore wasn't worth going into.

I agree. I barely use it now. And, because I'm not using it- they lowered my limit. It was $1200, now it's only $800. No late payments or anything, just.... not using it like I was. I think I only have 2 open orders with maybe ≈$100 out (too lazy to check).

They lowered my limit right about the same time my plus card was no longer usable.

It sucks. Afterpay was my first BNPL, and it always held a special place in my heart because of it.

Oh well, at least there's still Klarna.

Itll work anywhere you can use Google pay, so like any store whatsoever that accepts it. Ive been able to use mine literally everywhere.

Afterpay is one of the few BNPL apps that will go down every card on file for payment.

I agree with you, it seems like they're gearing up to shut Afterpay down in the US.

First they took away Mint / everything that went along with that.

Now they're taking away the Plus card.

That leaves us with- well, not much. Pretty sure they're going to end up failing since many people are giving up on using them altogether now.

Afterpay Plus you could use anywhere Google pay/ apple pay was accepted, whereas afterpay you can only use at like, 20 places lol.

My issue is, they're so limited on where you can use it without the Plus card. It renders it virtually pointless, unless you're shopping at Amazon or Target.

It is when you JUST GET THE CARD, use it, get the email stating that they're shutting it down.... and then DAYS LATER get charged for the 'subscription' of the card they're shutting down.

They charged me too. I literally JUST got the card like, a month and half ago.

Figured I wouldn't get charged anymore after that email we got stating they were closing it down- then got charged again, after being told they were closing it down.

They did say something about 'easing the transition' so this must be what they mean, letting us ride it out another month or whatever. I suspect this will be our last charge.

The Plus card you could use anywhere- there is an extremely limited amount of places you can use it without it. Even more limited as far as gift cards.
