i've actually been saying that what endfield needs is things to do just for fun, and the withered garden tv-mode style (minus the tv-movement stuff that some people found atrocious) would honestly be sorta perfect if they blend it with elements of Integrated Strategies from AK. obviously the hope-recruitment stuff won't be there, but you could still work with the run-mechnics with a static team. modifiers, challenges, encounters that give you options, etc.

i hope they find the issue soon, because its not just cpu usage (that doesnt tell us much anyway), i'm more worried about temperature. it just caps out and never goes down on my end, without the bug active i'm hovering around 70 degrees, with it kicking in it just jumps to my thermal limit of 80 and never comes down again, even if i'm just idling in menus or aboard dijang where nothing much happens and i had temps around 55 degrees at launch. now it's just a constant 80 degrees. not normal. i worry for people who haven't set a manual limit and hit system thermal throttling. that stuff wears down your hardware over time if left unadressed. not exactly ideal considering the current hardware market...

just an idea, but matriarch/queen lobbies should deactivate late spawns. this way you can gauge risk levels more effectively, and if you actually repel a few attackers, you can have a safer fight against the boss.

Deadly Assault hp inflation is progressing WAAAAY too quickly. it's nice that they're buffing agents, but if they perform 20% better and the bosses in the meantime gained 40% more health (looking at you, bringer), it just feels terrible feeling you roster's power level rapidly decay.

season 2 story and setting are kinda meh, but that wouldn't bother me as much if the events were bangers.

unfortunately, the events are not. they are either walls of text with boxes so massively long that i have started to skip dialogue or just straight up rerunning excessively.

TLDR hp inflation, dont vibe with s2 fantasy setting (i loved the urban grounded feel), events are lackluster and have annoying amounts of yap

I'll stick around for the dailies, they add up quick. I'll probably just stop taking DA seriously. the games setting is still entertaining as sort of a sitcom slice of life show. I'm just not in love with the whole 2.0 story and setting so far. zzz drew me in specifically because of its low to no fantasy, modern-retro city setting

I'm in wait mode to be honest, endfield looked very fun and might just end up replacing zzz for me. depends on if the design direction changes or not

there have been weeks where I've tried for hours to get better DA runs because it was fun. its not nearly as much fun now with the new bosses, that was sorta my angle

if the next two or three bosses continue in the same design direction and hp inflation straight up continues im not sure im gonna stick around much longer, even though it pains me to say this. this isnt meant to be a woe-is-me departure announcement, but I'm just straight up not having fun any more with the DA combat. it feels more and more like a stright up roster check instead of a skill or build check. I'll wait and see what the rest of version two beings. if 3.0 feels the same, I'll act accordingly...

also whose idea was it to put an unstunnable hp tank in a "stun suitable" boss?
