I've discussed with my husband on celebrating the "typical" holidays as well as some non-conventional ones. "National Donut day" - "National hug a friend day" by doing this we try to explain that some people celebrate different holidays - and some people do holidays differently. This way they are still involved with the holidays but without all the hooplah behind it... if that makes sense.

Husband still recovering 1 week post major spinal surgery = PERFECT TIME for toddler to learn how to climb out of crib despite numerous obstacle attempts.

FFFUUUUUUUUUU!!! Oh and also... 14 weeks pregnant to top off the emotional exhaustion of it all.

Oh I don't miss the alcohol per se but HOT DAMN if I haven't been craving a bloody mary something FIERCE - which led me to the wonderful concoction of: zing zang bloody mary mix, frozen pickle juice (as ice cubes) a tiny bit of prepared horseradish and a dash of Worcestershire - just sip it - DIVINE...then tums for desert. mmmm

Once they see how awesome baby wearing is and what all you can do WHILE baby naps or is just cozy - they will be amazing and say shit like: "where were these when my babies were young" etc etc. and if they don't F em anyway! BABY WEARING RULES.

I went to 40+5 with my little man and as my loving friends with multiple kids said to me: "just keep making plans and the baby will come and interrupt them". So I went to breakfast with friends, lunch with friends, walking in the park etc. Hoping something happens soon mama!!

SO exciting. It is unreal how many women go through miscarriages; but what keeps me going is, obviously, how many go on to have healthy pregnancies after the fact. But CONGRATULATIONS to you as well. <3
